The year is 2001. I come from school and do math homework while watching Lloyd and Space. My Mima watches it with me. She has no idea what the hell this is... it's all kids stuff. But she watches it with me. I miss those days :( I miss being a kid and watching shows like this and I miss my Mima. Rip Mima 1929-2006
I agree but Littlest Pet Shop (the 2012 remake), DuckTales, Longhair & Doubledome, Boy Meets World/Girl Meets World, Lloyd in Space, SheZow, Full House, Clarissa Explains It All, Sailor Moon, Johnny Test, Winx Club, Girl Code, Duck Dynasty, Cristela, Kim Possible, Victorious, iCarly and Lady LovelyLocks were still my #1 TV shows in the world.
Disney plans to do a crossover movie where Lloyd Nebulon and his friends travel back to the land of a beautiful young princess whose name is Sofia the First, using only his time machine to travel to the past where they run into some major difficulties with the cute princess and wind up as her royal servants. Will they return to the future or will they be stuck in princess Sofia's time period forever?
It is the only cartoon of its kind, similar to Sailor Moon (1992), because both cartoons have different aliens. Lloyd in Space had Lloyd Nebulon and his alien friends while Sailor Moon had a deceased alien in the form of a beautiful young princess whose name is Serena, a young teenage girl, who was sent to Earth by Queen Serenity. I watched both cartoons but Sailor Moon S is the best.
kylephantom4 Dude, some of those aliens were probably able to breathe in the vacuum of space. His friends Douglas (the alien brain) and Kurt (the alien slime) are able to and are examples of those kind.
I forgot how awesome this theme was, it has a 1950’s science fiction style to it in the beginning and then it becomes quite funky with its music. This theme is the reason why I fell in love with the series as a kid who enjoyed anything extraterrestrial and science fiction.
@@alinjo4421 I know this is 2 years old but since you responded to a six year old comment I think it's reasonable to respond. This went right over your head. They were saying Lloyd in Space was basically a kid friendly version of Futurama. XD
So you have Gus from Recess, Gerald from Hey Arnold, Patrick from SpongeBob, Milhouse from The Simpsons, and Raj’s Dad from Big Bang Theory in one show 🤯
I remember being around 6 or 7 and watching this at the edge of my godmothers bed while she was cleaning or something and she asked me if I liked this show. It seems insignificant but that's one of the few memories I have of her and for the life of me I could not remember this show I mean I know I watched it then and I had an idea of what the main character looked like but it's always been such a dreamy memory. Watching this cleared up that memory for me and I have a better idea of how she sounded and what she looked like. This video really brought me back to that moment where it was just me and my Nina and everything was okay.
I saw one episode of this show on accident. I have been searching for this for 13 years. Oh my god. I found it. And it turned out to be made by the same guys who created Recess, which I absolutely loved when I was a kid.
The best Saturday morning cartoon to watch during my middle school days, now I'm on a Lloyd in Space binge watching those episodes again on Toonmania and now the bursts of nostalgia strikes me.
David Israel I remember playing guess who when I was young and I said the same line and everyone looked at me weird like you just told us who you are lool
+leo50perez Wow bro, calm down. I don't like these "like if you're watching in 2016!" posts either, but there is never ever a reason to call someone autistic as an insult. Not cool.
+leo50perez Hey! Why are you telling that RU-vidr to shut his or her mouth, and calling him or her an autistic f*ck?! Look I'm sorry for replying to you rudely, but that was absolutely rude, and unnecessary!
My best-loved most-watched cartoon from the 2000s. Aside from Sailor Moon, Full House, SciGirls, SheZow, Lady LovelyLocks and Sweet Valley High, Lloyd in Space was one of the best shows to watch.
I wish I had Toon Disney as a kid (born 1994). I have it now (well, Disney XD), but I still want to watch things like this, Pepper Ann, the Weekenders, and all the other shows I only saw at other people's houses. I like some of the new shows well enough, but I wish Disney had a channel like Cartoon Network's Boomerang where they just rerun finished (or cancelled) cartoons. I don't even have Boomerang, but I really want it (I'm not the one paying for the cable so it isn't my choice).
Boomerang used to be so great now it hardly gives any old cartoons and creates new original garbage i guess it lost rights to older shows or something? What ever the situation is.. It sucks..
OH MY FUCKING GOD! MY CHILDHOOD! MY NOSTALGIA! I haven't seen this show since I was either 4 or 5. I'm turning 18 soon and I remember watching this before I even started school. Wow!
I remember very little of the actual show but I know I liked it, and- Oh wow, just plain Patrick Star is a freight train to the face, I did not expect that.
I have most definitely forgot about this show. I do remember watching it on Disney Channel when it had shows that actually hooked you. I don't know and don't want to know what they got now.
Lloyd, c'mon, man! Lloyd, have you finished cleaning your room yet? Uhh... workin' on it, mom! Lloyd? I gave you a crater full of homework today, mister! Run, Lloyd! Run for your life! Hey! You ain't garbage! Yes! Superlative! I was worried, Lloyd! Lloooooyd! Hehe... Oops.
Lloyd, Come On, Man. Lloyd, Have You Finished Cleaning Your Room Yet? Uh, Working On It Mom. Lloyd? I Gave You A Crater For A Homework Today, Mister. Run, Lloyd, Run For Your Lives. Hey, You Ain't Garbage. Yes! Superlative! I Was Worried, Lloyd. Lloyd? Oops!
I don't remember this show having interesting plots but the character designs, setting and voice acting are all really great. The synth in the theme reminds me of the Genesis soundfont, a lot catchier than I remember. I wish Paul & Joe still made cartoons together.
i really liked the episode where Brittany actually starts falling for Lloyd as a result of a love beam and it turns out she actually does like him for real and it's not just the beam talking, but she has to get turned back to normal.
@@jadedheartsz wow you unlocked a childhood memory with that one. probably the one i saw the most cuz i recall all those plot points, maybe that was just the most common rerun up in Canada
@jf k Yeah that would be cool. I actually have an idea for a Lloyd in Space movie where it's revealed that Lloyd's father got sucked into a black hole while fighting in World War 9 and on father's day Lloyd gets all bummed and is determined to find his father no matter what and steals a star cruiser and heads out into space along with Douglas, Kurt and Eddie and ends up accidentally stumbling into the middle of an intergalactic war through the course of his adventures and finds his dad is alive and being held prisoner and goes to try and save him while Lloyd's mom tries to save him. So a bit of Hey Arnold the Jungle Movie mixed in with Iron Eagle basically.
@jf k Oh my idea doesn't involve time travel, I was thinking more Lloyd and his friends find a way to hop through dimensions(Douglas invents one most likely) and try to go searching for his dad that way. So World War 9 happened before Lloyd was born? OK then i'd change the plot to Lloyd's dad going on a routine patrol mission only to encounter a black hole that threatens to swallow up almost everything in it's path and his dad ultimately has to go through and use a device in order to deal up the black hole and prevent the space station and a bunch of nearby planets from getting sucked in.
