80's Cartoons Intro Compilation 

And let's not forget Voltron!! I just turned 59 so most of these were made for kids and not someone like me that had already started college. But as a kid and teenager that grew up loving Looney Tunes, I wanted to see what else was out there and found a few favs: Voltron, Thundercats, and Silverhawks.

The fact that no one in this chat has mentioned the absence of "Galaxy Rangers" in this video has me questioning my existence.

To be fair we'd be watching a video for a month because the 80's and 90's were the golden age of animation and pretty much 95% of the series made during that time were awesome and had equal badass intro's not just those (you forgot Bots Master btw lol)

well halve of that shows clearly exist to sell toys. Bravestar ofcourse also try to sell toys. but it also handel dificult topics. slavary, racist, There was one episode where a system governer grantet the mani villian forgivnis and iminity of all his crimes and the marheal and judge were forces to ignor him becaus outherwise they break the law. And the most famous one. a boy became drug addictive. lie and steal to finance his addiction.and in the end DIE by a overdose. And i mean really death with a gravestone.

The thing is... back then, most of the cartoons were mostly average. Some were better, some were bad. As a grown up, i watched some old He-Man episodes and only noticed it today, that only the character moves most of the time, but the background didn't. Most of the shows were produced, to sell the toys. But back in the 80's producers knew, that the one thing, that kids will stay at the TV, if the shows have a intro, that stucks in the head. And THAT is a thing, that i miss in modern cartoons

Nope, Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors, The Adventures Of The Galaxy Rangers, Thundercats, Transformers, G. I. Joe, Jem, Inhumanoids, Bravestarr, Defenders Of The Earth, Robotech and Knights Of The Zodiac are the best intros músic

I remember the Sky Commander toys but not the cartoon. Tiger Sharks completely missed me tho.

as far as i know the real Goldrush on that world was over. they already scavenge the most profit kerium depos on the planet.Some lucky miner find here and there a big block. but overall this world already turn away from the kerium rush and were coloniese for difrent reasons.the miners stay becaus manny dream to make this world bigger and better. and the raiders stay becaus most call that there home or there powers are bounded to this world. Or they have the maximum of freedome also Spacetravel exist but was not as easy as in Startrek or starwars. more like the First alien movies where shipys need mounths if not years to fly from system to system.
