LLWS Best Defensive Plays 2019 

For those of you wondering, these highlights are in no particular order.

There is nothing I love more than watching kids play the sport they love as well as they can.

3:47 That kid made a great catch, but still let the runner from second score instead of firing it in immediately. Great catch, bad play.

3:00 is a very nice play for the catcher! It is very hard to perfect the knee slide while on grass, I have seen a lot of kids face plant while Fielding a ball like this and it is so funny to watch! I also really liked the 16:32 play a lot! The Louisiana catcher is super good

Thanks for all the posts this year Wheels. LLWS is one of my favorite weeks of the year. Awesome to look back on the highlights.

5:50 the kid ran right through a stop sign

You missed one play and it was when the shortstop on Minnesota in their first game made a diving play to save the game against Kentucky

Love how some of these outfield plays still end with the runner tagging because they are too busy celebrating

I'm not sure if Curley Martha (Curacao SS/P) or Reece Roussell is the better overall player. Roussell is a great contact hitter and outfielder, while Martha is an AMAZING SS and has more power for hitting. He also is a very good pitcher. I would say it depends on what you value the most.

How are so many of these plays were on Louisiana, aka the team that won the whole tournament

All of these plays are good yet on some of the plays in the outfield the dive and the runners on base just get to home pretty easy because they want the cool catch rather then 2 runners scoring because you stared at the umpire to see if you made the catch. That's what happened with the Virginia vs Minnesota don't get me wrong its still a good catch but the thing that would have made it better was maybe throwing the second guy out when he was running to score

bro its so unfair cus im on west coast and we got destroyed by cali and hawili and they are super good but on east everyone is ok so some teams can easily make it to the llws

Kids today worried more about tv time. Multiple fly ball outs on here with less than 2 outs. Get the ball back in ASAP? Nope. Let me stand & pose. Do better coaches!!!!!
