I love watching these kids play! Their skill level is outstanding. And to the idiot who says the fields are for toddlers? Really? These kids are 12 and 13 years old and the fields are regulation size!
Canada had some of the best players at the llws this year. Steven moretto hit 5 homers in distrcits and hit the best in the intl group. Thomas neal with the amazing catches. I know all of them and i must say they are pretty amazing players! Go tom tom gps
it amazes me how some of these are web gems. a solid amount of the plays look so hard because the outfielders didn't read the ball correctly or didn't take a good route to the ball...
The thing is, fields were 300 feet or larger when I was that age. We could lead off. I didn't play in little league, but things were much different. Home Runs were not seen because the fences were much deeper. They hit so many home runs because the fences are so short. With that being said, these kids are the best baseball players in the world facing pitchers with skills of that of an elite 15/16 year old. It must be slightly harder to hit a home run with those types of pitchers.
1:09 True, but the weight of the bats they use is like half the weight of the MLB bats, so the Little Leaguers can swing it faster, making it able for them to see the ball for a longer period of time, yet still make solid connection.
I can tell that you're exaggerating some things, but I do agree with you to an extent. When I was their age I was playing on 54' 60'. They are playing on an incredibly small field(s) for their ages
Yes I think they should only be able to use bats that are not BB Core because if they are some of the best little league players in the world they should be able to hit a homerun with just a regular bat.
