Hi Dave. A BIG thank you for this series of vids! They made the job of pulling the motor VERY straight forward! Cheers and THANKS AGAIN! Pulling the fuel tank looks pretty straight forward too. :)
It is easy enough to get out. The hard part is getting it back in because of the filler hose(and return the hose if it has one). Other than that it is ok:) Yes, I have done a couple of them and still would again. Don't even need to swear at it LOL
Dave i followed your video and advice and it was so easy!! Thank you Dave for taking the time to show all of us first timers..My son and i had a great time pulling it out
Thanks Dave for your video. I bought a late model to V-8 it and I have a guy needing the 6cylinder for an airplane! I guess we will both get to fly around when we were done. You helped me get that out and gone
I have to tell you your videos have to be the best ones i have seen so far...this is the second vid ive seen and i feel pretty good removing my engine....keep em coming!!!
Thanks. I think I'll be removing my engine next spring . I rebullt the rear suspension a few years back, so it should be within my comfort zone. I wish my Corvair was as rust free as yours. When I rebuilt my suspension, the hard part was the rusted on bolts. (Minnesota Locktite) Replaced all with new bolts. Dan 65 Monza convertible auto
Great video Dave, Thanks. Is it possible to get the dimensions to that engine stand?? Possible a Pic or 2. Love your videos, they've helped me out many times.
