They’re racing for money I’m sure they agreed to race to a certain point . Probably 1/4 mile . You don’t just race for money and not agree how far you’re racing to or where the finish line is ?

@@peterb4143 Only in the sense that the Plaid does 9.2s regardless of street or strip. Conditions have to be wet or really cold for the Plaid to do less than 9.2s given it's traction management and AWD. Either the Plaid was low on charge (like less than 25%), or not in dragstrip mode, or even worse, not in Plaid mode.

I think you should look at the new Kong lid that has ability to put inlets in for meth injection. You also will get the benefits of a better lid.

Especially considering most Plaids easily run mid 9’s on the street, STOCK on street tires with street trim.

no disrespect to the extremely fast zl1 but looks like the mustang had to pedal bad. Mustang was actualy out in front on the dig then looked like he spun. also curious what the mods in the ect catagory are. Was that s550 cammed? as far at the tesla del definitely beat the tesla

It took the zl1 about 10 second to get even with the plaid if you time it or look as video timer . Plaids do dragy times in the low 9’s on street to the 1/4 mile consistently . Just going off that zl1 started pulling away after the 1/4 mile. Just a guess . That zl1 is making some power to drive around a plaid like that after the pedaling 💪💪

Yes obviously zl1 is a faster car will run 8’s in 1/4 mile at track going off seeing how much he pedaled it and still came around . You said zl1 was ahead before the 1/4 mile . That means the plaid ran a 10 second 1/4 mile who knows tho . One thing for sure is the plaid won’t run it back after seeing what zL1 did

​@john jones if you think you can look at the video timer and tell who won based on what they should et....you are sorely mistaken. You cannot eyeball a timing system. It is in no way accurate. And you are assuming the plaid didn't hit traction control from spinning as well. That happens with them at the track even. Watch Andrew on the tesla plaid channel. He has traction issues on a prepped track so.ewhst often. Truth is, with these morons forgetting street racing 101 to have someone watch the finish line, we will never know. I do know that camaro would have put the same gap the mustang got if it wasn't a pedal fest.
