How long can the 5 keep up with it's current load of almost daily tours???? Tangmere eventually succumbed to problems before her!!!

She'll keep going as long as she gets properly maintained but all machines need repairs eventually. It's amazing what a 5 can put up with and keep working. You only have to look at wartime services and the run down condition of them in the late 60s! Like B1 and Halls they were survivors. Long may steam continue to thrill us all with their sound and performance!
