LMS 5690 Leander & 44871 hauled the Buxton Spa Express on the 26th of February in 2011 .This is a video that was deleted but I have managed to recreate the video using original footage . 5690 hauled the train from Lancaster to Manchester where 44871 was attached for the leg to Buxton . We see 5690 at Oubeck Loops early doors and then at Lowton before we finally see the pair at Davenport station .
