see here's where it hits home. I used to play this alot when i was young, replayed it alot and not just this one. 7 ,8 ,9 and so on.. but what hits hard is that i can still relive this cause my son of 7 years old is now playing this as well. time really does fly my friend :)

You can still have fun and still play it, just because you are an adult it doesn´t mean you should stop having fun. It´s like saying fairytales are only for kids, it´s not. If your imagination stops just because you are an adult you will stop living. Too many people live for their job. Live your life and not the life of someone else. Play what you want whenever you want, no matter what age. You can always enjoy it :)

I feel this one

There are certain games that just wake up a very specific time to me. Ocarina of Time is one. Final Fantasy X is another. Obsessing over this game with my best friend Zach in school, making friends with a different kid who had printed the entire GameFAQs strategy guide out into a binder that he carried around with him, lol. I was lucky to get to experience this sweet spot of really breath taking video games as a young person.

That's nostalgia. A concoction of euphoria and longing.

Is like Bali island or some south Asian island. I was living there some months and remenbered me FFX.

There has got to be places like Besaid in the world, we just have to find them!

A break up? Man this was probably the worst game to play if you had a break up. I mean how did you deal with the ending? The ending just had me in post depression state. I cant imagine how someone who was already probably sad at the time could handle that. That ending was heart-wrenching!

@@jordster401 I'm glad it didn't tore you apart man. At the time I played it, the ending just put me in a depressed state. It was probably one of the sadder games I had played. I was still very young and happy at the time too. I don't think I could go through the ending again these days.

The chocobo race minigame was the worst 😅

@@soothingnymph3063 I hated the lightning one more because you had to be patient. I was able to get the race one quite easily

@@ashade2877 I pretty much mastered the chocobo race over the years. It now takes me an average of 20-30 minutes to complete. The lightning has a trick to beat it pretty consistently and quick. The one that always drove me nuts was blitzball for how time consuming it is even if you know what you're doing, and the butterflies minigame cuz the controls/camera in that area are atrocious.

someone ported Zanarkand to Steam VR, I was there. It was awesome.

Haha same here! i ordered it just for the demo as well and yes FFX was the peak....after that all changed.

@@edge6441 Yup, X was the last 'real' FF Although I did have fun with XII (12), XIII-2 and XIII-3 though. 14 is an amazing MMO but 15 was ..... Hopefully Yoshi P comes through, I have faith in him

true, the last FF was FF10, then Sakaguchi left because of the movie bombing and yoichi wada meddling in his creative freedom (we have to thank wada for many amazing ideas like making more titles per ff entry (ffx-2 etc.) or using in house engines (like they did with FF14 and hence the game was unplayable at launch) its really hard to think about what could have been: if Sakaguchi didnt leave and we would have gotten triple A jrpgs with modern graphics and the feeling of FF6-10... i think jrpgs would have been a worldwide phenomen by now, with the mass adaption of gaming etc. but we will never know because nowadays square sucks but at least some talents are left, i look forward to Octopath2 and Yasunori Nishikis amazing soundtrack for this game, and yes, FF16 by Yoshi P is also interesting (i hope they dont want to go full game of thrones, i miss the classic final fantasy touch until now...)

For those wondering (possibly not) there is a sound glitch @ 37:45 ~37:48. this has been playing all day on loop while i was working. every now and then i was hearing a "noise" and couldn't figure out the source of it. but now i found the culprit xD. Im usually hyper aware to noises around me too so it was a mystery to me why i was hearing a little "bzzt" noise. :p
