Gun metal brass is that colour because it’s basically just a cast bronze or that’s what I was always told and I worked at a scrap yard in the uk for 22 years until I had to unfortunately give up work because I done my back and legs in but that was a great haul of metal mate and very well sorted into the best grades new subscriber
Hi Joe thanks for the info, yeah i was told a bronze too so must be true......Thats unfortunate about the back n legs packing it in.....I do my best to sort the bulk of my scrap as best i can to my knowledge to make sure i get the best payout i can get......Thanks for the sub.
$11.20kg for No 2 11.75kg for No 1 $11.90kg for Bright Copper The Brass total weight was 137kg but they also called the 5kg of cast ally taps brass too.....I told them of their mistake but they said dont worry about it so it ended up being 142kg.
