The most realistic video for mechanical work at home I have ever seen.. and I bought a tap and die set after the 3rd bolt I broke on my 80 series. It pays to have the emergency tools on hand or someone you know has them so you can beg, borrow or .... yeah buy.. lol...
For those that don't already know, you have to cuss and swear at rusty bolts. It's the only way to break them loose (or off). Seriously dude, you're awesome! LMAO
I used to bleed my brakes just as you described. Then one day an air powered vacuum bleeder was on sale $55. Never looked back not much better but easier and faster. Thanks, great video.

Dude I laughed my ass off because you think you swore bad I was way worse! I was working on my neighbor's 99 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner same stupid valve, wasn't leaking but the rear brakes weren't working at all. Took the old valve apart got it loose, still didn't work, ended up bypassing it. I know you're not supposed to, but better to have brakes on all four wheels then just two. I swear, I heard this, and was like listening to myself. Way to go!
It's so fucking nice putting new bits on after having to wrestle the old bits off, usually all night, usually cos you need it the next day and the part you thought would hold up, broke while getting the vehicle ready the day before, but yeah it's nice to stand back with skinned knuckles one rust-filled eye and the other one trying to squint off arc-eye, and think thank fuck that's done!
Mine is a little more rusty after watching your video I think I will use a bic lighter and a gas soaked rag in the gas filler tube. Thanks for the video.
@@93paxon Yeah PB Blaster makes you feel better, like at least you tried. But I end up breaking just as many bolts I use it on as those I don't. If anything it helps spin a bolt that is already broke loose, but I think that's about it.
Whoa, never heard of that stuff. I’ll be sure to get some. You dunce, I soaked everything in Aerokroil (which is much better than PB Blaster) the night before.
This is real. I dont have new stuff either and always adding to my collection of old shit. The pain is real, the swearing helps, and just get it fucking done ;)

Yeah that smell..... noticed a leak from the proportioning valve on my HZJ75 this morning, luckily had no seized bolts . Thought I'd rebuild it but looks like its not worth it, now looking for a new valve and not get ripped off.
drill 2 holes, yoiu then have a hole to hold the other end of ur bleed tube when ur done.. also bleed tube, generally needs to be longer .. 2 cents.. fuck man, i felt ur pain..!

I would fukking grease every fukking bolt I put back in. The two longer bolts that run through the sensor body I would also grease the unthreaded part before putting things back together again. Nice video though -)
@@oscarpallaresmedia21 A diesel swap would be incredibly expensive compared to what I'm doing. The turbo option really only just became made simple because of a company, can't think of their name.
