If you're able to. Could you post a video of the top 3 best and worst UD hobby boxes (i.e. Platinum, series 1, extended etc) and the worst 3 so those who are new to the hobby can know what to avoid and what to buy

You said it all Zeeree, Upper Deck does NOT care about the long game/hobby! Its pretty obvious at this point that their game is to flood the market with mass produced products for short term profits, awhile knowing they are going to sell out to Fanatics in the end. Upper Deck is copying Panini's game plan. If you think this year was bad, I can't even imagine what Upper Deck has in store for Bedard's draft year. I think everyone in North America will have a Bedard Young Guns!
I tried one of these and pulled an update Ice Premieres rookie patch auto /10 Kaprizov. I thought it was a 2021-22 at first, I was already very happy with card. But when I realised it was an actual rookie rpa/10, I couldnt believe it. Nice break man. Great stuff as always
Inconsistency is the word I would use to describe this product. I actually DID hit an auto in my box, so I'm "One and Done". I know the next box won't be that good.
I like this product but maybe it's because of the dual rookie class that appeals to me and not so much the set itself, hard to say. I don't like the price points for any of the products lately to be honest and the release schedule is way too aggressive. It's almost like if you don't sell your cards on the secondary market within 3 weeks of a release date then you're screwed because people have already forgotten about the product.
“Does Upper Deck really care about the long game?” - No, their job is to make money for them, not for you. They are concerned with meeting current demand as it ebbs and flows.
They also came out with an e-pack exclusive fleer ultra boxes to open and the whole thing is a joke and money grab…seems to be the way they are going with all there products now
Zeeree, I quit collecting hockey cards the year the players association gave exclusive rights to upper deck. And i wont buy any hockey cards until they get rid of the monopoly of hockey cards. Thanks for listening, Kurt
The owner of fanatics was on the nelk podcast and said that they are going to be disrupting the card business. They have the rights to the jerseys now so if they get rights soon to cards as well maybe upper deck will give a shit again. I
I dont blame you. Only time i buy UD products is in a break where I am supporting my boy Kenny. Im def never buying another box of cards untill the monopoly is gone. (If ever)
If it was $90 a box, it would be ok, but another shitty product from Upper Deck. Sadly the box breakers keep buying it up by the case so UD keeps milking it. If card collecting was still a hobby and not just a way for people to make money, the prices would still be reasonable
