The reason I bought this lot sports trading cards (football cards, & basketball cards) was because I saw l saw some pretty nice sports trading cards on the listing. I kinda made a risky purchase here with not a lot of info to go on before making this sports card purchase…Let me know if you think it was worth the cost?!

I gotta say the most underrated player of all time in any sport, in my opinion, is Steve Smith Sr. The dude played with a chip on his shoulder the size of a boulder for sure

The most dominant RB that everyone forgets about is Adrian Peterson. Dude was a stud on a bad team. He's the most underrated or forgotten about guy that comes to mind.

Absolutely agree, he was a stud. A bunch of rbs just before him were great too that don't get love. Like Shaun alexander, Jamal Lewis, Larry johnson, Marshall faulk, Eddie george, ladanian thomlinson, edgerrin james. I have bunches of refractors of all those guys including rookies, and they aren't worth much at all. At least an AP topps chrome refractor rookie is worth a bit.

Most underappreciated player is Eric Metcalf. The dude could do everything. HOF nominee 8 times never got the gold suit coat yet though. I am not even a Browns fan but this guy was electric to watch especially on returns.

I think the most underrated player ever is lamarcus Aldridge, he isn’t the greatest of all time by any means or even close, but he will definitely be forgotten in a couple of years, and the dude was consistently a beast

That Colts triple @10:44 had me doing a double take to make sure it wasn't a Jeff Saturday RC. There's a Colts offensive line card that looks a lot like that with Saturday on it, & it's his only rookie card, he was Peyton Manning's center for much of his career.

Totally agree Larry Fitz. He and Steven Jackson never got their due to being on a bad team for too long. But for most underrated player in all sports for me is Steven Jackson of St Louis Rams. He was a victim of bad timing, being drafted after Warner and before Goff, and poor coaching. Jackson should have ended his career in the top 5 RBs all time.
