Its SOOOOOO dangerous watching videos like this. Now I gotta go look for more Method & Redman, which will take me to Wu Tang, which will take me to NAS, which will take me to Biggie n PAC, then its on to Eric B and Rakhim. Damn!!! My whole day is now Blown. Cant get shit done! Thanks a lot guys! THANKS!!! Steups!
This reminds me of when hip hop artists had talent. Lyrics and delivery actually fit the beat. And lyrics can clearly be heard and understood. Love it.
This has to be the best song done by a battle rapper. Actually I never heard of Loaded Lux before this tune. They all went in hard and Red&Meth sound just like back in the good old days. I love this tune
Redman high as fuck eating the shit out them chips after killing it on this track. Most underrated rapper of all time like he is a legend but don't get enough credit.
+Timelordwinterandsun The first thing I thought of was the scene in How High when he was eating Cheetos and dropping them all over the carpet getting yelled at by Dean Cain lol
Doc and Meth murdered this like they do every damn track. I wanna give some recognition to Lux. He was in there with two lyrical Titans and the best duo to touch the mic. While Lux wasn't on their level, by no means was he a weak link. Lux held up his end of the track and was dope. It was a great opening setup for the legends to come in and do what they do best.
Brick City, Newark New Jersey stand up!!! Harlem and Staten Island New York stand up. Reggie Noble can still stand bar for bar with your favorite Mc's favorite MC. Legendary!!!
Yup brother so true Lux was on fire and then Redman came even harder but then oh buddy when Method Man started spitting his verse the jam went to a whole other level like gosh damn wtf was that!!!! I keep fast forwarding to Meth's part because that is some gold spitting!
Lux was cool but it's obvious why new cats just went to a whole nutha style..u can't top a Redman, Method Man, Jadakiss, Beans, Nas and a whole bunch of other greats..most u can really do is try to keep up on a track wit them dudes.
He's been had an album out. You just don't hear it due to lack of radio stations playing his music. I HATE WACK RADIO STATIONS WHO DON'T PLAY REAL HIP HOP!!
Red & Meth...Greatest rap duo! Seriously. I feel so blessed to have been around for their whole careers, and it makes me smile every time I hear them on the track. May they never stop making music.
i just look at that shit like pop music or a whole other genre. there are too many new acts still coming out that still showcase skills, real talent and respect for the art form and that's the new era to me
I'm feeling everything about this jam from the groove and music to all the fresh as fuck lyrical spitting. Lux did his thang which was fire and Redman came and showed why he is one of the best to ever approach the mic, but then Method Man came and took the banger to a whole other level of Hip Hop golden masterpiece!!!! Damn Method Man's verse was so fucking hot I'm sure a lot of amateur rappers when they first watched this and listened to his spitting they just put down the mic and said fuck it lol.
Still brings a smile to my face cause this is the hip hop I fell in love with!!! I don’t know why you can’t get this on any music platform but RU-vid got me lol
U got to be grown to won't to learn something new bro there are still some young ones out there with some bars I've heard them so all is not lost the hard-headed I want to hear that garbage 😔
I am embarrassed. I am just now finding out about this song. This was a great song. It has that New York flavor all over it. Loaded Lux really shined on this one.
When watching an old school goat like this do you ever just like block at the words and just stare and get a warm feeling? Ik it sounds weird but sometimes with dope rappers like this I don’t even listen to the words I just hear it and it makes me happy
Cousin Bubb - Ask Biggie (R.I.P.) he had to write his verse for The What twice. The verse he wrote before Meth laid his down wasn’t hot enough but his second most definitely was.
If you’re a real hip hop junkie, you’ll appreciate all three verses. Loaded Lux came out the gate with some heat, Redman took back to the days when he was tight with EPMD. Meth, whew! He flowed smoothly and flawless. Classic track!
ME....and I STILL wanna know who that light skinned Gorgeous honey is that they kept putting the camera on ! Is she Meth's or Red mans girl, or did the camera man just KEEP finding her ??????
@@tito9560 I like Mos and Kweli, I don't think the comparison is fair. Red and Meth are seasoned artists that spit on all types of music. Therefore, both albums that you mentioned have their own lane. One thing is for sure, that Blackout album was a banger. Especially how they complimented each other's flow. They are the best duo hands down.
Rajohn Foushee I guess it’s different taste I like all of them n all are super dope. I feel like mos n talib are just a little better. The reason for me is the blackstar abulm has more uplifting n conscious songs. The blackout had good songs but not the same as mos n talib.
@@tito9560 Well they definitely are not the same. If you're looking for uplifting music then don't look for Red and Meth. They're more raw, hood and controversial.
