Loaded Sushi Bake
Rice Layer:
2 cups cooked rice
2 TBSP sesame oil (or to taste)
2 tsp plum syrup or mirin
Furikake
Seafood Layer:
5 ounces cooked salmon
6 ounces imitation crab
2 TBSP cream cheese
1-2 TBSP kewpie mayo
1 green onion, divided (half for garnish)
Toppings Layer:
Avocados
Kewpie mayo
Spicy mayo (sriracha or gochujang mix)
Unagi sauce
Cucumber, shredded
Carrots, grated with microplane
Furikake
Cured egg yolk, grated with microplane
Sea grapes or tobiko (fish eggs)
Salted & roasted seaweed sheets
Wash, soak, and cook your rice!
Mix rice layer ingredients and place in a pan (I'm using a springform pan).
Mix seafood layer ingredients and press into pan.
Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
Top with desired toppings listed above and enjoy with Gim (roasted seaweed)!
