I'm not talking about those ones, they can keep those, one for the pre and one for the post. It's all the loading transitions screens around those ones that are unnecessary or redundant. Some have timers attached to them so they will not progress to the next screen or back to the main menu and those screens show zero player models.

ironically ive had no issue with the loading screens compared to bf3 and 4 honestly. loading times in general are mostly responsible for that in my experience, but 2042 is a little weird with the spawn queuing and whatnot. i dont want to have 15 seconds of picking where or what i want to spawn in just to wait another 25 seconds for my spawn to actually take place. i also dont understand the playtime argument, what does playtime have to do with anything other than the amount of time people would spend on the game alone? it doesnt change how many people buy the game and play it themselves, or get it thru gamepasses of sorts then play it. ive never heard of anyone getting a game based on total playtime

@@ViisualsHD If I could I would love to run BF4 or 3 and BF 2042 on 2 PCs side by side and time the actual gameplay length amounts. Or add up the time for game launching, connecting to online services time, then match making, then Map loading, then round starting, then countdown before actual gameplay starts, then respawn time. Also endcreen time, then next map load times. Add all them up over the days, weeks, months, years. I would not buy a game with less than 20 or 30 Hours of gameplay before its done, unless replayability is there.

@@AZZslaughter1ST i would love to as well i just never found a genuine difference other than the fact that after every game takes you to the menu then queues for another separate game. other than that i wish i could do the same as well, but im also well aware that pc's are not generally consistent and an identical build can run different performances despite whats included in it.

@@ViisualsHD Maybe 2 consoles if they can run the same, One BF4 the other BF 2042. Ravic replies to some other comment below about the screens and I think it is true what he says. I play BF 4 a bit and you have a 13 second timer before the start of a game where as BF 2042 has 20 seconds where you pic loadout etc, then another timer as you are in the game waiting to move. Overall I found more seperate screens before and after a match than BF 4.

@@AZZslaughter1ST so i do entirely believe that, but i still dont understand what playtime has to do with anything really. maybe its a personal experience thing but ive never heard of anyone buying a game based on playtime, let alone rating being based on that ENTIRELY. otherwise i understand it could be an inconvenience, but i dont understand the actual importance of half of what people are mentioning. im more than glad to be enlightened, i dont really have an argument, just a confusion.

I don't think I care enough to do that, I just want to old system for underbarrel attachments back from BF3.

@@Slenderneer It didn't really require a separate key to switch to underbarrel attachments like the grenade launcher and once you selected the grenade launcher it would stay the grenade launcher even if you switched to your secondary weapon and back. In BF2042 you have to keep re-selecting the grenade launcher every time you switch to your primary weapon.

@@Ravic Ah, so basically having it as a gadget slot (or at least having it be a separate keybind *solely* for it). Fair enough, although I do personally prefer the UBGL being part of the attachments since it allows it to be used across classes and even weapon types. If it was a separate keybind, AKA hitting the 'activate underbarrel' button, swapped solely to the UBGL / masterkey than it would be a major improvement.

If we are talking launch hit registration and movement speeds then maybe but with the recent or current state of the game being in a much worst state it makes high risk vs reward weapons like the M44 a real pain to make viable. That and it still visually looks awful with its single-action animations.

Playing Battlefield specifically is night and day on PC. Plus learning KBM comes pretty quick tbh, at least it did for me. Just take it one step at a time. Try to learn the keys for a while, then try something that requires only aiming for a while. It can be overwhelming trying to use WASD as well as aiming with your right hand when you're inexperienced.

@@carlsmith4568 thank you for the advice. Have you got any recommendations on a Starter Laptop or Pc? or should I aim for building a Pc? I am looking for something good enough to enjoy... say, Cyberpunk's DLC.

Rumors are it’ll be set in modern times, around 2025. It should be also brining classes back. There was also a leak saying the factions would be NATO and a massive pmc, like the Wagner group that fought in Ukraine. Russia probably isn’t going to be the stereotypical bad guy in the next game because of the invasion of Ukraine. It’s coming out next year around November supposedly.

Maybe 2025 release date. Not much more info.

I'm not even talking about those screens. I'm talking about all the ones that go before or after them. Especially that one that shows progress updates on the Battle Pass, it's fake, not real, because whatever progress it shows it will force you to watch the same progress update if you go to the main menu and look at the Battle Pass. There are too many excess screens that serve no purpose or are redundant.
