My SubZero Baritone Guitar order just got delayed for a third time, and then this video drops. I don't know what I did to deserve this kind of torture.
They did this to me too. Im so mad. Literaly they delete order yesterday and send me money back. No email. Nothing. I ordered guitar on gear4music. And Then they rise up The price of this guitar for like a 50£. I don't understand
i ordered the polar white model at like the end of january (estimated shipping in september) and i noticed i got a refund too but my order is still verified on my gear4music account i tried calling their customer service number only to get sent straight to voicemail & it said "the number you are calling is temporarily unavailbable" this is a different tone "you have dialed a number than cannot be reached from your calling area" im from the states and this worries be quite a bit, you think their is a forum about this being a common occurrence or happening before with other guitars?
I message to thier support and they send me back this: "We have not refunded you and your order has not been cancelled. When you placed your order, a pre-authorisation was created to reserve payment against your available balance, since we only take the payment when the order is dispatched. As it has been over a week since the pre-authorisation was created, your bank has automatically released the funds back into your available balance." Maybe it will help you
@@lildirtdick777 yeah the whole "offsets for metal music" fad is really taking off recently - I'm not complaining as a long time Jaguar fan, it's just funny to see I guess.
@@97McLuvin look at jon from northlane... playing custom esp tele and jaguars at 32'' scale legnth lmao. never thought id see a jaguar tuned to double drop D
Something like this is a good display of the solid, tasteful and ridiculously underrated drumming from Sean. It's my understanding that his performance on the kit was overdubbed on the album with samples.
As far as I’m aware it’s not that there was a lot of overdubbing, it’s that some songs were real drums and some were entirely programmed due to logistics/studio availability. Fairly sure I read that a while back but I might also be talking out of my butt. That said, there are a few songs with subtly different drum tones to the rest of the album. Whatever the case, all of the drum sounds in the album are killer.
@@deviltelletubbieHere's where I got my info. Haven't watched it since, so the details I mentioned could be off a bit. But yes I agree the drums sound killer, just personally lacking a bit of acoustic personality. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZyiYOl_T6Fw.html
Aight so the drums were tracked live in studio with no reso head on the kick, toms and a low tuned, muffled snare because they were going for a "modern vintage sound". When they realised it wouldn't work entirely how they envisioned, George Lever, the mixer, brought in snare and kick samples and BLENDED them (not replaced them) with the original tracks to keep the humanity in the playing as he does not like sample replacement unless it is absolutely necessary or what the band wants. Now to my ears - the drum track here sounds different to the one on the album so these playthroughs could be Erik and Connors own mixes
@@Glacyr47 Guitar world said in an article that the thickest string at the top is .105 Like, even when I’m tuned down to drop A, the thickest I would go is .58 on my top string lol
@@antenna7002 Nah... Not very familiar with the baritone world then huh? 30" is one of those sought after scale lengths for most baritone low tuned players... most people use as thin a strings as they can get away with for tuning to take advantage of the scale length, but that obviously doesn't apply to everyone.
Oooh, the aesthetic of this video as well as the music therein takes me back to the first time I saw the music video for "Just So You Know" by American Head Charge in 2004/2005. Really sick! Keep it up, boys!
It's interesting to see the contrasting styles of play. Both get the job done. One maybe more efficient, the other plays with a lot of feeling. Very cool.
Btw that subzero baritone jaguar that my man is playing is literally only 300 dollars. Sometimes it’s hard to see why you need to pay for so much if you just want to play. And I know this more then anyone because we lefties get no love out here in terms of guitar manufacturing.
@@Return2TheLivingfender's got such a prime market to restart squier baritone jazzmaster production, because those things are going for $1200+, subzero and harley benton are both capitalizing on it and made some killer products
