The best part about this song is how once it drops, the intensity of the song just doesn't stop until the song ends, it just keeps hitting you with different patterns of melodies, drums and bass and constantly keeps you on your toes.
@@uncroppedsoop I cannot fucking BELIEVE this is the song from the fish video and yet I didn't recognise it That means I basically had the experience of hearing this song for the first time twice, and both times came to the conclusion of "Wow this is unlike any other song I've ever heard, banger"
Quick tip to newcomers. If you see an abnormality with the flavour text: "When the time comes, the train will chug down the tracks and sound its mighty horn." Take it and work with it until it's fully researched day 1. Then press memory repository and if you see that abnormality in selection again avoid it like the plague.
WHO SAID YOU CAN’T KILL A BIRD WITH A TRAIN?! Edit: Future self here. Would like to remind people that the train can only be accessed beyond day 13. Since it’s a WAW.
the amount of times ive seen "DONT PICK THE TRAIN" on L corp videos and me seeing this flavour text had me already avoiding it like the plague. That, and "Here comes magical girl!"
Trumpet 1: "Oh no, eh, I will get a few agents here, and a couple here annnnnnd it's dead." Trumpet 2: "What do I do what do I do what do I do what do I do what do I do" Trumpet 3: "Restart? Restart. Restarting is good."
Since third trumpet is extremely rare to get if you know what you're doing, I've always associated it with: "Ok, I can't pause, I can't leave, the only options are to fight till *He's* dead or everyone here perishes"
@@Mr.Mosquito89 AFK Grinding machine more like. All you need is a European god fetus, a death laser construct pried from the Death Star, a volunteer who won't ever come back out into society, and you'll have the best time of your life watching Whitenight get fried like the egg he is.
have you considered putting all of your agents into a nice and safe shelter while the rest of the facility goes to shit and the abnormalities kill each other in an endless orgy of violence?
The absolute dissonance between the three Trumpets is amazing. The first one gets you on your toes but it's a banger and let's you know things are still under control mostly. This one steps it up, lights a fire under your ass. "Listen man, time to get it together." Battle music to get your heart pumping so you can deal with the threats. Adrenaline is a super power. Third Trumpet is just total failure. Despondence. Everything is lost and you're left to stare at the rubble.
In the lore, there's seven trumpets, funnily enough. There's the first trumpet: "An abnormality has breached and poses a minor threat to the facility and its employees." Then the second: "It's not too late to improve the situation. A competent manager can handle this. Of course, it will cost several employees." And after that, the third: "It would be a miracle if you recover from this situation. Most employees have died, and it will be nigh impossible to suppress the breaching anomalies." But after that, we have number four. "The facility is done for. Your role as manager as well." It says you won't actually hear the 5th trumpet, which means Fourth trumpet has been triggered in many branches and facilities, and most abnos are loose. 6th trumpet says "When this sets off, we will probably have lost our position as a wing, either by anomalies or other wings." And 7th trumpet is "This is the end. Abnormalities have thrust humanity into irreversible ruin. There is no hope in this apocalypse. This alarm is reserved for the ABSOLUTE worst scenario imaginable. (Note, in the original text, "Absolute" is in Italics.) Ok, but the thing is, even WhiteNight 'only' triggers the third trumpet. Imagine if something could instantly trigger seventh trumpet... Source: Page 16 of the "Manual of Lobotomy Corporation" (I think that's the title.) book, available as a DLC for the game.
@@SmilerStrike I love how Trumpet four is basically the equivalent of Gordon Ramsey going 'You fucking donkey, get out'. *Spoilers for LobCorp if you haven't played it but like the OST, why else would you be here lol* If White Knight is enough to sound 3rd Trumpet instantly, which is basically a 'fuck, literally go back in time', I shudder to imagine the kind of bullshit an abnormality would have to pull to get to the 4th Trumpet even. Obviously 6th and 7th are a number of abnormalities working together, but lore-wise is there one possible of 4th alone?
@@SebTheSamMarten Well, maybe not on OUR site... There are other sites, after all, so there's plenty of anomalies, probably lots that weren't implemented. Even some Abnormalities that weren't implemented, such as Nosferatu, seem to be canon, since it's hinted that Bloodfiends originated from Nosferatu, and those guys are from either LoR or Limbus, I can't remember which.
@@SebTheSamMarten Tbh, WhiteNight fire off the Third Trumphet in the only facility affected by TT2 Protocol, so Memory Repository can still revert the damage. If PD ever visit any other branch, an outbreak is pretty much guaranteed, which likely will cause Sixth Trumphet at the very least because no way L Corp could stay a Wing when that happen. Seventh Trumphet might be there for Adam ending because of the way it played out spell "doom for humanity" imo Edit: apparently during day 49 one of the screen text mentioning the trumphets, so the seventh trumphets is most likely reserved for Adam win scenario
@@dragodx8238 I didn't really get the message (my English is pretty bad), could you please explain what "gameplay is half the fun" means. I'm going to try the game soon and I'm kinda scared of what is awaiting for me.
@@waifuri The gameplay is actually part management sim and part visual novel. Although the management sim is the bulk of the game, the story of both the overarching plot and individual characters (the Abnormalities included) are a big part of what makes it special (more so once you play its sequel games). It's half the fun basically. The "Face the Fear" to the "Building the Future"
it's kinda wild that a track from a management sim slaps hard enough to fit in an ultrakill video. I could listen to this while cybergrinding and it wouldn't feel strange.

@@stealthily6668maybe to you, but for me I never had to even once had to send a suppression for green dawns after the upgrade of clerks. It might have done nothing to the endgame, but every speck of damage can help.
I do love how this plays all throughout day 46. It's a perfect way of saying "Welcome to the endgame. This game isn't done with the surprises, and things are only gonna get worse from here", combined with the feeling of not knowing what in the world a "white dawn" is
Can I just take a moment to remark how amazingly well calibrated the game's threat detection system is? That is, the coding that determines when the warning level goes up. It takes so much into account - the number of employees alive and their stats, the number of loose abnos and their strength, and determines danger so well that the alert level always perfectly represents the actual danger of the situation. Early on if you get red hood busting out, you'll hear this but late game some aleph's will barely break a single trumpet, anything waw or under won't even register, and the only real abno that can trip the third is WK.
I think it goes on a point system, where each abno has points to breaching based on its rank, and each employee dead also adds some points, then that's divided by the amount of departments open.
WE"RE NEARLY AT THE END OF 23 BOYS COME ON KEEP EVEN IF BLUE STAR AND SILENT ORCHESTRA IS ESCAPING CAUSING EVERYONE TO START GOING INSANE WE ARE ALMOST AT THE END.

@@alwayrember193 Late reply but isn’t he though? Pause upon seeing the first death notification for the worker, which probably causes a trumpet to go off so the hud change is enough of a warning anyway.
I absolutely love how much effort the video's editor went into giving this song the visuals it deserves, from the warning icons in the corners, to the vibrating sound waves/logo, and even the song progress bar surrounding the logo. It's so awesomely lively! And of course this upload is getting tons of more views than the others, it's easily the most popular in the OST.

Also, corperate just called, they moved up the deadline, so everything will need to be done in about 4 hours instead of next week"
