The Lobotomy Corporation employees attempt to prevent a full qliphoth meltdown and are forced to face the deadliest abnormalities. #LobotomyCorporation
this is an amazing highlight of Lobotomy Corporation. The three different bgm's do a really good job at showing the downward spiral caused by a facility wide meltdown.
I agree the furs trumpet is like ok abnormality got out we got this. The second is oh shit this might be hard but if I focus I can do this The third one is when all hope is lost
First trumpet is a warning sign that things can go downhill if you're not careful. Second trumpet is when things have gone downhill, but you can still pull through! Third trumpet is when things are never going back uphill. Time to reset.
Having finally finished the game, I can safely say, if you fuck up badly enough to have knight of despair breach, you're probably doing more than just one thing wrong lol
Either that, or you have Pale Fixer assassinate the KoD employee. Or An Arbiter did it while you were busy. Or WhiteNight got out again. Meh, there's a lot of ways for the Knight of Despair employee to die. Then again, would you even consider putting it on a weak employee?
@@thatrandomguyontheinternet2477 The only way that'll happen is messing up with Fairy Festival and a few tool abnormalities. Maybe Army in Black too, but that's really stretching it.
@@thatrandomguyontheinternet2477 You need to be unlucky. A maxed out employee should have around a 20%+ to their work success rate due to temperance. The lowest chance would be either be repression or temperance, with 40%. So, your PE box chances would be about 60%. You need 0-4 boxes to die. If you wanted to optimize your dying chances, you need to keep temperance low and justice high and nothing researched on the abnormality (as researching can give a little work success). From all of this, repression would give a flat 40%.
The first time I used that I forgot one of my nuggets in there and then was surprised when everything just ended up escaping, got to know he was the problem only after yin and Yang fused two times lol
@@riccardonodari5248 me and a friend were playing this game for the first time together We unlocked bunker and it took us an annoyingly long time to realize it did THAT
Just imagine being the staff there, seeing those "creatures" kill your friends, and yet you can't unsee it, keep thinking about it. Until every corridor is filled with red blood, at the end your mind breaks and you are just standing there, waiting to die.
@@madharambe3264 It's a real lore thing that you see everything in a cartoonish way, at day 9 or 10 (I don't remember), the filter breaks and you see a thrashed corridor and a dead employee before the filter turns back on. Then everything goes back to normal lol
@@gerax2003 Really late reply but "Woops sorry sorry hehee slight malfunction everything ok?" X: *slightly traumatized* "phew, i thought we had to dispose of you. Good thing it's back on ^^ anyways try not to remember all that stuff and continue ur work ok ifyouneedanythingletmeknow bye bye!!"
I don't really understand how the community doesn't think the rabbits are useful. I came a bit late to the game, finished it just recently, and the rabbits are insanely good for keeping things in control before it all get's worse. I think it's because they call them too late as a last resort? I always used them as a way to quickly regain control and they mostly get it done, unless is a very bulshity aleph of course, or something with high aoe damage, like nothing there (although I've seen them beat nothing there a few times). Always good to keep your agent's alive for worse case scenarios.
@@makiatto_ That's what you're supposed to do. For some reason people hold off until 3 level V agents are dead to decide to spend a little energy to only end up resetting anyways
The rabbits are very good at fucking up a certain firey bird... When farming firebird, spam instinct work until it escaps, and get everyone to clear out of the department. Then call rabbits. The bird will end up just Schizo-ing out with it's charge attack, doing basically no damage.
First Trumpet: You can still regain control! You just have to know there is most definitely a few deaths around. Second Trumpet: Okay, you may or may not be screwed, but you just need to send out all your employees if you want to continue the day. Third Trumpet: Just restart, you are fucked.
I don't have the game, i always watch my friend play on discord, but he restart every time ;-; even if it's just the 1st trumpet, sometime he manage to regain control but he never let the second trumpet start more than 10 second
@Erik Autio some of these fuckers transcend concepts such as gender (looking at you, Blue Star & CENSORED), but some others, like Mountain of Smiling Bodies and Nothing There, are simply amalgamations of multiple people (Blue Star could fit in this description, but the Star itself is something else) and can't really be called a specific gender. It's a game about lil monsters though, so who cares
@@andradios6029 Everything about it had to be censored because half of the previous managers all went insane from seeing what it's like (even little parts of it due to a malfunction in the cognitive tech) and had to be put down. Whatever everyone in there sees (since they don't have the cognitive protection the manager does) has to be so much worse.
@@bored8321 nuuuu I still have Tiphereth to suppress, and with my garden of Abnormalities (seriously, I have almost every plant-like abnormality in the game lol) it's gonna be painful
@@CoinCleverWhiteNight does not allow you to pause, change speed, or go into the menu. Once he breaches, you remain locked until it is either suppressed or all agents die
Imagine watching this with the cognition filter turned off, I don’t blame half the staff for breaking their own necks. Also, I love how this whole thing is set up. Just like in most games, first trumpet is trying to maintain control, second trumpet is trying to regain control, and third trumpet is completely losing control.
The whole trumpet thing is cool, cause when you actually cause the game to recognize your issue is a first trumpet, retry the day dumbass, ya failed. Tho but rlly, the game uses these three simple songs and their queues to alert the player as to how they should address the immediate situation, the moment a trumpet is sounded, the player needs to maintain or regain control, or give up.

@@sakura368 Neat, to be honest I kinda do wanna pick up this game or one that is based off the SCP series for characters like that. Dr.Bright is kinda similar in a sense, though because of his ranking in the SCP foundation he is not actively used for resecuring SCPs, however in almost all the "XK Class" End for the world scenarios he is almost always alive due to a amulet he wears, with the only time he truly died being in a special case, but during these scenarios he is often sent out to the field with whatever gear he needs, which includes apparently the potential use of little play-doh soldiers that refer to him as the general.
1st trumpet: the casualties will be heavy, but you can still fix it 2nd trumpet: send in the rabbits 3rd trumpet: everyone into the shelter. Let the abnormalities sort it out in between themselves

Trumpet 1: it ok we can contain it Trumpet 2: maybe I should restart Trumpet 3: GIVE UP and RESTART In the wiki there was a supposed 4th trumpet were all of your employes are dead and you getting fired from your position
There isn't really a way to get fired considering what's going on. How do you fire yourself? Not to mention, you aren't the one truly in control of the time loop, that'd be Angela.
A year later, and I slide in. In the artbook, it mentions of a 5th-7th trumpet. You don't even hear it, because it's implied that the manager, yourself, are no longer in the office. 5th and 6th trumpet means to just pray things die down. 7th trumpet is the end of the world, everyone is gonna die.

I always imagine this is just one of many facilities in Lobotomy Corporation. When one facility goes unresponsive it gets permanently locked down. They eventually send in a cleanup team to recapture all the abnormals after they are half starved.
Good Lord, I forgot I ever made this comment. It was before I understood the game, and learned L-Corp was literally rewinding time. 10k years had passed on the inside of L-Corp while only ten years had passed on the outside. Have to wonder what L-Corp looked like from the outside. Inside was a special kind of hell.
Imagine if abnormalities could fight eachother, abnormalities that hate a specific type of work (like Big Bird and repression) could get into fights, like CENSORED and Big Bird would (cuz censoring is sort of like repression) if they saw eachother in a hallway

Idk man, the plague doc can instantly kill people with his touch. I don't see even ALEPHS doing that and rhe ones that do have incredibly specific conditions. Let's just be happy that the City doesn't harbor any world-ending maniacs with ego strong enough to turn into abnos.
That one Rainbow snake killed billions and sunk cities in a breach and only was controlled for going back into containment itself and it aint apollyon also theres the malfunctioned destroyer that is slowly getting repaired and when it does will wipe out the entire planet and many more countless ones that are end of the world scenarios but not apollyon
