Matty, please, for your sweet family’s safety, open the doors/windows, if using charcoal inside. 1 hour in the oven can generate lethal levels of Carbon Monoxide. As little as 1 part per 1000 can be lethal. And worse, it’s odorless and tends to sink down, to small child height.

Did you mean the tomalley? Tomalley is a delicacy in many parts of the world, but you're correct in that it acts as the digestive system and liver of the animal so it filters toxins. You don't want to eat it daily, but occasionally is fine even though the government warns to never eat it because any toxins accumulated in that lobster don't leech out when it is boiled. But again, it is not the same as what's de-veined from a shrimp, which is the actual shit and many people eat it all the time. Zoso_Floyd yes, that’s correct. Although it has a concentrated lobster flavor and is tasty, it shouldn’t be consumed as it may contain the toxins that were filtered out by the lobsters body which can lead to paralytic shellfish poisoning (PSP). Also, I just think it’s nasty... but hey, different strokes for different folks ✌🏽
