I admire Eagle Scouts. And the merit badge goal - how great is that? What a challenge to set for yourself and then achieve. This kid has certainly earned recognition!

Not to brag but my nephew was an Eagle Scout. Went onto Annapolis Naval Academy and became a Lt Cmdr with Navy and a F18 pilot. He served one tour aboard an Carrier then transferred to the Marine Corp to serve two tours as pilot in Iraqi skies. Presently in Texas and active in consecutive politics.
