I lived on Gozo for 2 years but had to leave due to Covid. I love re visiting all these experiences. We had a very similar market in Nadur Gozo.

Hello! Alex thanks for Appreciating my country so much. I just want to let you know that when they were selling carpets those rolls near them weren't wallpaper but a table cloth that we call "dvalja tal-incirata" basically its plasticity wich is usually used for outdoor tables or indoor . very easy to clean to!

Actually I always went to a local market too, it was open on tuesdays, and i assume its called like COSPICUA / BIRGU MARKET, totally local too! :D

Alex! My Mom was born in Malta in 1910 to a British Officer and his wife. The gentleman in this video who said he was a history fan, and who wanted to show you his area, is exactly the type of person I have been searching for to help me with my quest for info on my Mom and her parents. She was born in Cospicua. Is there any way you could put me in touch with this gentleman who loves history? PLEASE!

There is an excellent craft market close to the Nation Football Stadium and the Aviatiom museum at Ta'Qali. Worth a visit and maybe a future video. Just check as I'm not sure it's open every day.

Hi Alex, thank you for your videos, I'm English and my late father and my mother took me and my younger sister, to Malta, to Birgibbugga , for two weeks, I was 15 coming up to 16 later that year, my aunty and uncle had gone to the same apartments for many many years, 2-3 times a year, my uncle knew Sir Stanley Matthews, and regularly met up with him whilst over there. I'm 57 coming up to 58 this year and ever since that holiday I have always dreamed of going back to Malta to bring back those memories. My wife is disabled she has walking difficulties, can you recommend hotels and areas that would suit or or accommodate her please she also has C.O.P.D, we have been married 10 years this year and I've still not been able to take her on a honeymoon.
