Great video my basketball days are behind me but I still like the format and filming of your videos. lots of good information for those who are interested in the game. well I'll just stick with baseball.
Can't thank u enough I went from being a garage basketball to now clamping up my friends and now the grind is one cause next year I will be trying out for the high school basketball team next year and have a great day and thanks for everything
Aiden glad that the video helped you lockdown your friends! Also stay tuned we just made a video for high school basketball tryouts. Will be out before the season starts
great advuce abd I will be putting many things you said into practice. I kinda think not at least standing could make a great shooter shoot all the time over you because he will know you ain't contesting.
more tips: guard a right shooting player with your left hand. your left hand is closer to the ball than your right hand. also, keep your feet shuffling and always moving on square ups, so driver can't pick the higher/closer foot to drive past.
these are good tips that im already using beforehand, but really you cannot contest a shot crouching down like that.. unless your opponent rises the ball so slow that you can swat it down before it even goes out of reach.
Hey guys how important is it to take rest days in vertshock on time? For example can i take rest one day earlier than usual and then doing the workout i wouldve done when the rest day shouldve beeb?
Thanks man! It's best to stick to the schedule.. but if you swap rest days for one week that's perfectly fine! What's most important is that you're actually TAKING the rest day, and RESTING! :)
If you open up toward his weak hand, doesn't that perfectly give him the opportunity to attack your higher foot with his strong hand? Thank you in advance coach!
Thank you today I played with kids who were taller than me in a scrimmage and I didn't get scored on because of this video. Also in the video where you talk about scoring on taller players I used those tips and I scored like twenty five points.
I have a question, I play my friend 1v1 sometimes, I'm 5'3 he's 5'11, he always drives he can't shoot but when he drives he can stand at the rim with no contest cuz he holds the ball in the air, when I jump he just moves the ball behind his head, how do I guard him and stop giving him that time
Work on your footwork, stability / balance / strength, and reading into his drives. Keep track of when he breaks and in which directions he likes to drive, as well as from specific positions on the court
Mark Jackson Stay low in your defensive stance and climb up into their space... you will probably have a quickness advantage - use it to bother them and make them turn their back to you. Don't rise up or fall for a shot fake!
