I loved that plane. My favorite on of "Fly Deltas Big Jets" to fly. They are ready when you are. They love to fly and the feeling grows. They love to fly and it shows.
I was a worker of that airline , it went for Aqaba for maintenance but company was bankrupt , and it died there ....this was Cs-TMP one of the last L1011-500 crossing the skies. This is not the way this beautiful plane should have ended.. it was full of history, our lucky 1011
As a long time fan of the L-1011, I feel my heart sinking in my chest watching this beautiful bird now being idle at the bottom of the sea, slowly rotting away in a place she doesn't belong in... Argh...
Please don't be sad, she is now a home for corals and fish, you can see already pioneer organism inhabiting the surface and crevices. In the next few years she will thriving full of life like the ship wreck Cedar Pride.
@@arabdivers6979 As every aviation fan will tell you, we feel bad when our long-time beloved airplane type reaches the end of her life, whatever its fate. I would have said the same thing about a TriStar awaiting the scraping machine at the boneyard. The comment was not aimed at you persona intuite, of course. My only consolation is that, at least, her death will spark life in the ocean...
@@stevemulroy1417 True. Not so long ago, this beautiful bird was still carrying passengers from point A to B. This marvel of engineering is now nothing more than a pile of metal and wires. Her days have gone, a new life cycle is beginning for her as an ocean life shelter.
I did a little more research of that L-1011 its 38 Years old the airline is Luzair and what happened was this accident occurred during an automatic landing at Stansted when the rear of CS-TMP struck the ground on landing. The recorded airspeed on touchdown was 120 knots, while the calculated V/ref was 145 knots. During the final stages of approach, the Auto Throttle System was inoperative but the crew did not detect the consequent diverging parameters of aircraft attitude and airspeed

There is a faked one on the toilet now and in the cockpit of the C-130 (scuttled 3 years ago - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8LDsZJSOP6Q.html)
Dear friends Jesus Christ is ALWAYS WITH YOU! Upon accepting this truth, these 3 words will become like a safety net for you, protecting you from falling into despair. Because we are human, we will always have ups and downs in our life experiences. But the promise of the Presence of our Lord and Savior limits how far down we can go. Sometimes you may feel as if you are in free fall when people or things you had counted on let you down. Yet as soon as you remember that JESUS IS WITH YOU, your perspective changes radically. You can look to Jesus for hope and help. Dear ones, not only is Yeshua (Jesus) with you but He will hold you by your right hand, guide you, counsel you, and take you into His Glory. All you have to do is say YES to Him this very moment and receive the promises of his unfathomable love. I welcome you to receive our Creator THIS VERY MOMENT by first acknowledging that you are a sinner in need of our Savior. Welcome Abba Yahweh (Father God) through Yeshua (Jesus the Christ) into your life. Receive grace by believing in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross, His death, burial and resurrection. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior whom died on the cross for the sins of ALL human-kind, arose in the 3rd day and currently sits on the right hand of God the Father Almighty. You will then be justified in salvation and forever blessed with His abundant love by the Holy Spirit! ❤️❤️❤️ (Zaphaniah 3 : 17; John 6 : 55-59; Psalms 73 : 23-26)
