Learned more than a week of school fr. I've been playing for years, never really tried or dedicated myself to making complex stuff, and that bit me in the ass when I finally had the motivation to do so. This helped a LOT, godspeed to 10k subs man!
really needed to learn about offset and magnet locking, ive been using unnecessarily long towers to cram in rockets and ive had motors stick out when i couldve just used magnets
Tryna return to plane crazy, ty for making this vid knew all except magnet and offset, and as a person who only makes mini builds with most of my builds being 5-8 blocks long, these are going to be very helpful
i love this vid so much, helped me so much in building in plane crazy, although my play time is 53 days and 15 hours, i do only a little motorlocks to my builds
Me: "Hm, I have some big and ambitious projects I want to make, I should probably look up some tutorials so I don't fuck up my builds." Also me, literally 20 seconds in: "I like your funny words magic man."
one of the best locking guide, only thing i dont see is offset camera locking, which isnt really that advanced but still practical. good editing and clear instructions
Very helpful! I honestly suck at building in plane crazy and only good builds I have are variations of tutorials, maybe I'll try to make something myself now. Thanks!
A thing i don't understand about building with motorlocking is how do u precisely know where to place the blocks to make them lock.I mean, for example, how do u know where to place the motors to make those spaceships?
I consider myself an above average builder in the Plane Crazy, but if there's one thing I only dreamed of making, it was these vehicles with an extreme level of detail, and thanks to you I'm seeing that it was much simpler than it seemed, everything What I needed to do was think, lol, thanks... but just out of curiosity, how many days have you played?
an improvement to this guide that may be helpful for new players is to also provide footage of builds from start to finish which demonstrate the techniques in an easy to understand way. after watching this guide: i gained better understanding of the techniques but i am still left somewhat confused as to how to implement them.
will this work with transforming builds to stabilize them(by stabilize i mean remove the shake or freak out my build suffers in the legs from it badly)
If I have to make a tank with motor lock(For the turret and mantlet), what would be best for it? I'm trying to find one that allows to be turned 360 degrees. Edit: Ok, so the piston lock is the best way...but does any other work?
there's a recently new locking technique (it is obvious) and that is compressor locking! (basically motorlock but better) it has no exposed parts and when you unpower it, you have to press the keybind to lock it
I didn't know this but when I started to watch videos with Motors I always look at the settings of the motor so I'm good (Plus when I was watching a tutorial and the video ended it ended me up here.)
If People call your build trash and even yourself, This is a recommended advice even with you GudBulder. No Matter How Ugly it is, just flying it makes it good.
Keep in Mind: Camera's WILL reset if you leave the game or reload your build Camera's will also reset if you MOVE the Build Camera locking doesn't work on mobile :(
