Lockjaw's Locker remade in Unreal Engine 4 

Right down to Sonic in the cage, this is a beautiful rendition, that puts all the Rare love in it that engine can possibly handle!!! This is the definitive version, that sorry old Microsoft stole from all of us! Thanks for this beautiful remasterpiece!!! 😁🎮

If DKC2 got a ultra HD remake and it looked like this, I would pay any amount to own it. "But the game is $1000." "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY GOD DAMNED MONEY!!" Don't underestimate my love for DKC2. haha

I love all the little details in this. I also like the little easter egg with Sonic hidden in the frame and the map. The only thing that's a bit weird is the banana models. I'm not sure if they are low poly or the light map on them is weird. But they do stick out from everything else being the real deal.

*HOLY FUCK WAS THAT A NOSTALGIA TRIP* I seriously got chills during the drop down into the hold, actually brought back memories of that initial drop in the first underwater level. And the little details, too, like the K-O-N-G letters, the DK Coin, the "No Swordfish" sign, the music changing _Banjo-Kazooie/DK64_ style in the transition between above and under the water, and _unghf_ that climb back up so you get to see inside the Kaptain's Kabin again -and that magically floating parchment is -_-still so -_*_-sparkly-_* I mean *_fuck me_* -but don't actually please- all of this is pure fangasm. In its purest. Form. I think I see what you mean when you say it still needs adjustments, but I definitely can't quite put my finger on what, let alone put it into words. And anyway, even as it is now, I am 100% with Strei Bullet in that if something like this were ever to be made and released officially, I would pay _any_ amount of money for it and no one would be able to stop me. -Even if I have to steal that money I mean what- Do not underestimate _my_ love for DKC2 either. -Also hi Sonic. Sorry about your predicament. Cranky's "no hopers" rule is all it is, you know?-

this is insane! This game has been a huge part of my life for 20 years which is crazy to say. The muddled soundtrack underwater and the creaking of the ship.... everything about this was perfect. I would personally LOVE to see a level from Kremland done next as that was my favourite world but I'd understand these are probably a lot of hours to make

finally a faithful reproduction of the original soundtrack. Most artists are just glad they figured out the notes but they forget about tonality. Bless you sir, i hope one day Nintendo decides to remake the original DK series with up to date visuals and your soundtrack style in mind.

So ignoring the somewhat overdone post-processing, the overall look and feel of this is ridiculously close to the style of the original CGI, and that alone makes it stand out in huge ways. Materials/shaders and lighting are enhanced without deviating from the overall feel of the original renderings very much, and that alone is enough to capture the nostalgia very effectively. Excellent work.
