What are your thoughts on a lock left 1-1-3 but with the 1-3-1 principle of not allowing straight line corner passes? Baylor and Georgia Tech ran this type of matchup zone but not with lock left principles. I wonder if there’d be a smooth way of rotating and denying the guard to guard pass back to the right out of it.
@@SAVICoaching I really like peel switching and my 1 gripe with the lock left is that you can’t really do it on middle drives. I think peel switching on non-middle drives would be unstoppable though in the lock left. I think that’s an advantage of always forcing baseline vs lock left is that you can always peel switch with the bottom man if you get dribble penetration.
