I'm in my 40's and grew up with rap from my teens... I can say I just found my favorite rapper by far. He speaks to the shit most guys in my age group feel. He's like a rebirth of Rakim.

Had to come back to this one after the Mysonne freestyle to compare although Mysonne was dope both are full of wisdom from two different perspectives I agree this is one of the best freestyles ive ever heard substance filled with knowledge with each bar and punchline Locksmith impressed the shit out of me!💯

I come back to this video every so often, still to this day this freestyle is top 10 all time to me. I’ve been having this thought lately that I’m having a hard time putting into words but hear me out. There’s a crazy moment in this freestyle that stood out to me as soon as I heard it for the first time and every time after. At 11:42 through the end of this freestyle Locksmith gets in the zone, like he can’t miss. He has this sense of invulnerability about him. His attitude, delivery, flow, passion, and intelligence come to together nearly perfectly on one of the greatest beats of all time. It just has a different feeling to it, like I said it’s hard to describe but I can feel it. To me, this is the moment that immortalized Locksmith. I’ve had this same kind of feeling hearing other rappers like Pac, Big, Jay, Nas, P and Havoc, Eminem, Kendrick, J Cole, King Los, Black Thought, Rakim etc.. I know I missed a lot of rappers, but those are a few off the top. It always seems to be these guys that are masterclass emcees, they have this moment in hip hop that to me displays excellence in the craft. I’m rambling a bit at this point but I hope that made sense. Any thoughts? Moments that you had a similar feeling?

Man it's truly crazy how underrated this man is. Since my last comment on the vi seconds video, I watched everything you've posted since a week ago, my favorite part of rap is the lyrics, lyrics make or break rap for me, I watched locksmith for a while too. I love how Ryan is more about the flow and the beat, and George is about the lyrics and the production value in general, it's a wonderful dynamic and great to watch you guys talk about the music.
