Fun fact: from what I've heard, Loco was so shy during the Don't shoot that he could barely look Hwasa in the eyes. He just became way too flustered all the time. Which is totally understandable :D He seems to be much more comfortable in Somebody though which is nice. And while I barely know his music, this came out at just the right time to get me excited to see him live on Sunday :)
He was indeed shy - i really recommend watching Hyena on the Keyboard Hwasa Loco episodes - they're so cute and seeing the creation process of Don't is also so good
Hahaha Loco back with Hwasa. Amazing collab as the previous. But Loco looks more chill right now than Don't MV, he can't control his expression on that one 😂😂😂😂
This song was made on a show called The Hyena On The Keyboard, where they show the creation process for songs. That is also why it was less of a traditional MV since there was less time between creation and release. Loco is from AOMG, which is more of a hip-hop and R&B label. They have plenty of great rappers and producers. Lee Hi is also a member of the label (though she started out on YG). I think you will really dig her vibe. Somebody is just a nice chill vibe. Certainly a different from the vibe of Don't, but a fun song. I think it is more just dummies to act as stand-ins because they weren't going to lift the real Hwasa and Loco in the air like that.
Aside from rapping, Loco owns his own Burger business. Hes always about his Burger business lmao he even gifted Hwasa like a whole bunch of Burgers when they dropped Dont. She gifted him Yellow Flowers as a thank you back since both of their fave color is Yellow. Loco likes Hwasa like....a lot. Their chemistry is out of this world. Watch their "Hyena on keyboard" episode its fully available here on RU-vid. Ive watched it many times because their chemistry is SSOOO good and so obvious they made that episode wayyyy too fun to watch.
Before they ever collabed or even met Loco said once on the TV show Sketchbook that he had a massive crush on Hwasa and basically asked her out lol (in a jokey way). They finally met on the TV show Hyena on the Keyboard. This show was about musicians collabing with each other to create a track, and that is how 'Don't' was made. 'Don't' was a massive hit that dominated the charts at the time. It's really nice to see then collabing again on such a chill song
Man, Loco is just a normal dude. His tone and delivery are so honest and transparent, I really can't draw a parallel to western rap unless you go back to the 90s. He's an amazing artist, and his style just works with Hwasa. They could make 100 songs, and I'd listen to all of them.
when you said " i wouldn't look at her too " i died caus Loco had SUCH a hard time cause he has a huge crush on her and she knows it so she messes with him a lot and it's hilarious.
In all of Hwasas discography LMM is probably my favorite and what it means is also so beautiful (the mv also). It's really underrated in many ways and her vocals really shine there. Once again loved the reaction!
Don't came from a TV show. I dont really know the context very well. There's probably a lot of people who can give more details. :) It shows how Hwasa and Loco met and the creation of the song. It's pretty cool. For myself "Somebody" feels like they are trying to say "There is some one out there for you. They may be leaving hidden clues. And you may have to search far and wide to find them."
Don't was completed in 2 weeks (crazy) for/during a show called "Hyena On The Keyboard." The bartender is actually the producer, Woogie. You can hear his signature at the start of the song, "Woogie on and on." For reference, here are the clips from the show (in order) - Pt 1: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jx2Tc4V68Mo.html Pt 2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KAFOjukDzSc.html Pt 3: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vMerdE9snEw.html Pt 4: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d7S-dwW8L7U.html Pt 5: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ix-NjN8oDa0.html They also performed an additional song, by Loco, that originally features Jay Park, 'Post it': ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8TUuQTToPoA.html Loco is one of the most successful Twits ever lol
Btw, Hwasa dropped a cover song on her birthday, "I Like You" by Post Malone (ft. Doja Cat): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pvPPqxLgHgw.html
Thanks for reacting to our Queen! Hwasa ft Loco is amazing and they are friends so is great. They admire each other so both of them wanted to collab, that's why Hwasa called Loco and they did Don't. Waiting for you to react to our Wheein too c:
I love the moment you say that all our 'holas' and written or spoken reactions behind cameras would just simply turn into a cross eyed gaze... I feel the same about her.. that look would be so overwhelming I'd probably faint or genuinely believe it wasn't for me, a mere mortal... hahahaha, but that being said, it's absolutely fantastic to see that she has this chemistry with anyone she collabs with... her voice, the melody and lyrics, everything matches and gives us, always, a delicious experience. The second song and video give me that boyfriendxgirlfriend vibe, a sweetness.. I don't think the burger has any deep meaning but that of sharing moments and being together... I'm gonna watch again, and again, and again... then I'll be back to the patreon cuz she's there waiting as well..... lol ... kisses, dearie. love u
I would like you to react to this hwasa ft Drp live video the name is I'm bad too. I think this song was recorded in pandemic and it is one of my favorite songs.
they are so cute together. 💚✌️ and it feels like they are just meant to make music together. 👌 and it was just the best choice to add both their songs into this one reaction. 👍 this new release has another very nice and vibey bside though, called 'lemon'. you might check that one on your own. it's definitely another one for your playlist. 😉
Not sure if this asumption is true, but Loco owns The Famous Burger, a diner-like hamburger store, so it looks to me like a humorous reference to that, also if my memory does not plays tricks on me he once brought hambuguers for Hwasa's crew to a concert during the "Don't" era
I was so excited when I heard this was coming out, and it did not disappoint! Great summer vibe or riding in the car. It has maybe like a optimistically lonely vibe with some self love. The b side of this is the Lemon song. Check it out!
I love them together, their chemistry and tension is exquisite. I saw this when it dropped I was a fan of Loco and AOMG (Jay Park's label) and didn't know who Hwasa was. Only in last year I've become a big fan of Mamamoo. This song, Don't, came out of a reality show called "Hyena on the keyboard", which follows the song from idea to release. Hwasa and Loco individually really wanted to collaborate, but had never met. In the show they make contact and make the song. If you like Mamamoo and Hwasa in particular you would enjoy watching it. There's eng sub on RU-vid.
Советую посмотреть “The Hyena on the keybord” с Локо и Хвасой, это просто лучший выпуск из всех, которые я видела)
Fun Fact: Loco has a huge crush on Hwasa. Or had, he said he was so nervous while filming with her and it was suspected that they are a couple or have a fling.
If I can suggest ANY songs that made me absolutely love Loco's rapping, check out Outerspace by Kang Daniel (The host from Street Woman Fighter, Solo Artist and rapper from Wanna One). The song is absolutely insane and Loco's rap is wild.
I don’t know if it’s right but, Hwa sa came in Loco’s show to sing with him “don’t” and brought flowers to him. Then on her show he came do sing with her and brought some burgers 🍔. I don't know if it is related 🤷🏻♀️. I just know that I'm obsessed with their collaborations 💜
