I wish the chainsaw staff was a melee weapon in multiplayer or a pickup-able weapon. Then you could spin it to block bullets but grenades and heavy weapons couldn't be stopped by it.

The locust breed using the Berserkers, so there are probably strict rules that are followed for breeding procedures. Berserkers are incredibly dangerous, even to allied locust, so the Berserkers have to be restrained and essentially raped in order to be bred, meaning that the work being put in to allow them to breed only allows for the strongest and the most worthy to produce offspring, anyone else simply being a waste of time and effort. Or at least that's how I see it.
