Whenever I played gears of war and fought one of the butchers, I misheard them say “hunger” and assumed they said “conquer” and so I dubbed them conquerors. Their large cleaver I had also assumed to be more of a sword because of this. Funny that the enemy I assumed to be a skilled warrior was actually a low level cook. Ya live and ya learn I guess.

The Gears of War enemy types are probably some of gamings most diverse and well developed enemies. They have great designs and functionality, and they really show off the Locust forces.

There should be a prequel game that shows the origins of the locust at New Hope with Niles, Myrrah, Torres, Reyna and Ukkon. And has you play as a locust against lambent in the hollow. It'd also be good to include references to the pendulum wars and emergence day.

Playing horde in gears 2 I always hated the maulers. Them or the bloodmounts would kill me unless you take some shields and fortify up like in pavilion haha memories

Gears of war is a cool game but the game never made sense they should of started the game from the pshelam war playing on the amergance day were the end u will take place in the prison. Then gears of war 1. Gears of war 2. Gears of war 3 Gears of war 4. And gears of war 5 would be perffect
