I feel like I'm in a really weird position right now... I went to college this year, I was accepted where I wanted, but now I don't know anymore what I want to do. I worked so hard to get here, but it feels like everything was worthless. I'm so confused and I don't even know if it's normal or if anyone can relate, but I just wanted to get this off my chest...

You want some excitement, something new, but that comes will sorts of fears and worries, responsibilities and consequences, despite how trivial it all seems. The most you can do is find enjoyment and interest wherever and whenever you can, hoping that the next day may bring a little light into your life. Listening to these songs over and over, you think I'd get bored. It's odd. I find music brings me closer to reality. The good, the bad, and everything in between. Whether it be dancing around the halls of the moonlit floor, or my earbuds softly playing tunes as I stare out the car window. Life is all about the moments not only you share with the people around you, but it's about the moments you share with yourself. Go wear what you want to wear, go to the grocery store and pick up a candy bar at 2 am. Stand outside in the rain and look up, walk around your town and listen to tunes. Whether it be something you can be judged for, so what? Who said that amongst closest, and amongst nearest to us, that we must obey and listen to what they think of us? Only you truly know yourself, only you truly know what you want to do with life. Those summers when we were children, those winters when we couldn't wait for the snow to fall and silently rest on the trees. When we were carefree when we felt anything was possible. Now as we're older, it's nothing more than a restriction and years we lose from our childhood. YOU go do what you want. If you want to travel the world, go somewhere you'll never be able to explain. Do something where that child from so many years ago, can come out again. I'm tired of people constantly telling others what to do with their lives. And I know how exhausting it is to live up to some unimaginable and unrealistic standard. Whether it be school, grades, looks, etc., and to worry about every little detail. And in times like these where it's hardest, just gives us another reason to keep pushing and allow ourselves to grow. Life is never going to be easy, who said it was? But life can be.. undescribable. You were chosen to be here, this exact moment, and place. Life is miraculous. You never know where it can end up, there's no way of telling. No one knows the future, no one ever will. But, that's just our responsibility to make it ours and make it worthwhile. There are so many reasons that you're worth something. There are uncountable reasons why I think you're worthy. And if you don't, that's okay. Take those little steps, and take as much time as you want. Sure, you don't have millions of years on this planet, but there is no due date to when you should stop growing that spark inside you. You're not always going to be happy. And if you aren't right now? That's okay too. Being sad shows the value and emotion of a person. If you're numb, it'll get better. I can't tell you when, and I'll never be able to. But, I can tell you this; It's going to be okay. You're a wonderful person, outstanding, and have many talents. Some you haven't even found yet. And at this moment, at this age, if somethings wrong, or if somethings bothering you, just let it out. No one's stopping you, and if they are, show them reasons you're stronger than them. Whether you're crying, bursting in joy, or not feeling anything at all at this moment, I'm proud of you. Of everything. I don't know you, but whoever you are, I can tell you're going to do wonderful things in this world. Everyone is born with a set purpose. Of course, sometimes I think I'm not worthy, or I'll never live up to my over-worrying brain. But I've made it to be a teenager, and I've made it to where I'm happy. Sadness is harder to take away than happiness- you may be sad for a while. However, who said that was bad? You're sad, and it's finally time to let those emotions out. Don't smile through the pain, and don't hide your emotions. You're valid and worthy, and I'm incredibly proud of you. Let it all out. And at this moment, go get yourself a treat, whether it be to watch a movie and sleep in your comfy bed, or to eat a slice of cake. Whatever it is, I hope you realize your worth. Both words "What" and "If" have incredibly different meanings. But put them side-by-side, and they have the power to control you for the rest of your life. I don't know your name, and I don't know your story. But if what you feel now, whatever emotions are mixed around inside of you, it's never late enough to be the person you dream of. I'm not sure If I'll ever be the person of my dreams. But If I ever so happened to feel it, I'll take advantage of it and seize my moment. And if you haven't reached to be the person of your dreams, I hope that one day you'll be able to. Now, what're you waiting for? Go live your life, go blast some music, and live life however the hell you want to.

Wouldnt it just be so nice not to be sad everyday? The mornings are hard, the days drag and the nights are miserable. I dream about not feeling so alone in a world full of people. You hear people say it gets better, but does it? When is it supposed to get better? Late nights and lonely thoughts, right?

I'm sure you've already heard of this saying, but take things one day at a time. Work hard, you reap what you sow. Work hard to obtain the skills that you want, motivate yourself to do things that bring you out of your comfort zone. Know that this won't happen overnight but take slow and steady steps. The best friends/companions are hard to find. The ones that are easy are usually the ones who won't love or care for you truly. So have patience, keep searching and you will find the ones you want to. The expectations you have for yourself have those same expectations for others, nobody is perfect so don't expect anyone to be. This period of despair and negativeness will only last temporarily, make sure to always stay optimistic, and you will get there. The world is cruel but keep working hard and you will find ones who will love you. Be open and I'm sure others will to. Life is hard and everyone lives different lives, so don't compare yourself to others. Have hope. And I hope things turn out well from your efforts.

I just want to get this story out off my chest. So, I feel my house doesn't feel like home anymore. My parents never support me to go to college. I want to be a physics engineering, but my parents want me to be a physician or working with government instance. It really break my heart. Who is supporting me when my parents don't ? So I decide to be a gap year student, but I don't think my family support my decision, and also our financial I want to get out from my home for a while but I can't, I don't have money. My parents obviously will prohibit me to do that, they overprotective but don't give me solution. Damn, I hate this.
Im a stay at home mom. I feel sad and lonely 🥺. Hubby always work and has zero time to talk to me. I miss real adult normal conversations. Music helps me get by.

I have been cured from my 4 year long depression and must I say, I miss it at times. My brain doesn't go in those depths or in beautiful scenarios anymore. I am living the "normal" life now. It's boring. No extreme ups or downs, I particularly miss the high ups, the absolute manic episodes where life seemed beautiful from its every feature. This music made me dream of better days but now I just hear beeping and ear-disturbing sounds. I wish I had that creativity now that I had then but I don't want depression back. It still was a horrible time but having neutral emotions is boring.
