I was actually thinking of getting this for my wife. She's been eyeing my 60%s but the lack of arrow keys dissuaded her from actually using them. Thanks for the video, seeing it in a video vs seeing it in pictures makes a huge difference.
It does look cool but definitely form over function like you said. I'm guessing they opted out of using the one switch on the centre of the shift/enter key because it would be visible due to the key cap being much smaller in the centre. It's a shame, they should have just opted for a similar shaped key as the space bar. This probably would have cut down costs a little too, but they just wanted to keep that style I guess. Good video!
I have bought an *Ajazz 308i* retro keyboard for less than $30 -it's fantastic. 2x AAA battery. Not mechanical but the sound and feel is really warm. The Layout doesn't change the regular keyboards and the it looks way better than this one. Only issue is that you need to pair the keyboard everytime you want to use it and maybe the batteries. I don't know yet how long it work with a set of them because I have been working just for a week.
I've been pondering about this keyboard for a while now, I think their campaign is about to end on Indiegogo. I'd gladly sacrifice form over function if I didn't have to type so much, but alas I can't justify spending over $100 on something that just isn't comfortable or productive. Great review!

For us poor swedes that really doesent have acces to good shipping rates from amazon and have to rely on ebay, its one of the better choices. I see, well at its pricepoint there really arent a lot of cheap mech boards that doesent look all "gamery" and awful. I think it looks kinda sleek and it packs a lot for the price.
i am using a Magicforce with gateron red (blue and browncan be cheaper) switches, it's my only mechanical keyboard but i do realy like it. there is a video about it on this channel.

Hey, good video by the way, like always. I have a extremely low budget, (50 usd and lower) and would like a good mechanical keyboard. I would like to use it as a secondary for typing and my other one for gaming. What would you recommend (that can ship to Australia). I'm asking you this because it seems like you know a lot about good keyboards. (my preferred switch would be brown or blue). You don't have to answer, you can just link a video if you want.
i've tried one at a mall, i dont care about the layout actually i mean i dont even use right shift, back then i wasnt into custom keyboard so i really like the fact that it has bluetooth on a mechanical keyboard
I bought one and return it after 10 mins of using it, super hard to type, always hitting the wrong key, I have small fingers but still feel like it's extremely hard to type cause there's not enough space between the keys.
I've yet to see a positive review for this product, and its aesthetics do nothing for me (and I like old-timey keyboards). There are typewriter-style keycaps, and I've seen one hall-effect keyboard with bamboo-inlaid typewriter caps.
@1:08 Not necessarily, it is just not the keyboard for the average Joe. You must be some fashionasta or enthusiast to like it. Type writer aesthetics does not necessarily appeal to typists.
You wouldn't want to do that for a couple of reasons. One, most custom keycap sets are not very cheap, they're not something you want to butcher. Two, I can't think of a solid method that would yield consistent results across all keycaps besides slowly sanding each of them one by one. Also, because of some of the double switch keycaps and a few non-standard size keys, Many keycap sets will not be compatible without some compromises.
It's a really cool keyboard. I like it. I wouldn't buy it though. It's too cheaply made for my tastes. I hate all of the plastic lines and the cheap slider buttons on the side and the cheap keycaps. If they made one with aluminum or metal or just a better plastic with out all of the plastic lines and cheap ass keycaps then I would buy.
How to use a tech product as a strong bait to the f e m a l e audience: 1) strong price,not relevant to the quality of the product(good iz expensive gurl!!) 2) wireless(do your makeup and type #mascara at the same time from your bathroom 3)iShit device compatible marketing 4)instagram material retro style tech,away from the norm of the typical size keyboard.
