I often take it with me on location.

Low profile is nothing to do with carry or portable, it is a profile so it depends on preference of typing feel. Just low profile have size and weight benefit. I never carry my low profile keyboard just have it for gaming, but other custom mech keyboards that I have I bring it to my office everyday, 1 keyboard each week. 😂

@@peachx4394 which is why I don't understand the point of weight savings if it's just gonna be sitting at your desk, my topre with CNC case is 3kg, the last thing i care about is weight on a mechanical keyboard

@@v000000000000v as I told 1st is typing feel 2nd is weight advantage, bcoz not everyone like to carry 4kg keyboard along everyday and low profile keyboard is easily to put in any bag you carry, when I carry my custom mech I lost my 1 hand for it everywhere I go, that's very inconvenient. 🤣

​@@peachx4394 again, i dont get why people bring their keyboards around, people dont bring an extra keyboard just to use with their laptops at coffee shops right? if you are bring it between 2 fixed locations like office and home, for the same MSRP you can get 5x GMK67 or even 2x rain75 which both have superior QMK and VIA support, you can just get one at work and one at home or even one as backup plus the proposition of light weight as a selling point is moot, a hhkb is 520g, barely heavier than this board, i dont see how 30g changes portability, plus any modded hhkb will sound and feel better than low profile switches, even the GMK67 is only 450g compared to this board at 490g the only reason you would buy this board is because you SPECIFICALLY WANT low profile switches not because it's light, and if you're already bringing a 490g keyboard then bringing a 600g keyboard makes no difference

i dont think so. I think they are going to release this with their own software.
