I built my own home back in 1986 and one thing I can tell you from the experience is everything takes longer than you think it will.

Hi guys I've been following your work for a while now, and it's a joy to see your methods and progress. Really inspiring, so thank you for sharing! If you feel up to it i have a couple of questions, I noticed that the bottom logs got some sort of membrane? between the log and the floor, and then glue on top of that? Is that repeated all the way up between the logs, or just the first, bottom log? Would be very greatful if you could explain the process for me. I also have a bandsaw mill, and i'm sawing the D logs for my little cabin build. Just trying to understand the process of exactly how the walls are going up. It's looking fantastic compared to traditional log cabin builds, so much less work and a nice vertical surface inside. I'm stealing your idea!😀hope you don't mind. Greetings from Sweden! P-G
