Kapa dole.
Balkan ! My Man ! Anyone ! Is there a way to join intersecting walls to show that they are joined rather than just passing through?? Also any tips for making the bottom log be a half log?
Hi, Balkan! I always refer to your tutorials whenever I'm designing using Revit. I was hoping if you could do a tutorial on the arched wall opening on a curved wall but instead of only 1, make it as an array, so the curved walls have a lot of arched wall openings. Please and thank you~
How do you add a window, you can't just cut an opening where ever you want, the opening needs to be exact. You can't just switch out a windows for a door. This information goes on a schedule.
Work-around - you still have to make the openings in the curtain wall as shown in the video. You can make a thin "air" wall at the center of the wall to set doors and windows in. Double the work but it works.
Couldn't you just alter a basic wall to be completly made of sweeps? So I would create a circle profile with a thin wall in the middle for hosting doors and windows
A good exercise, just for fun. I would use two horizontal cuts making a 25cm high profile. Sounds nearest to a constructive solution. Maybe a group of walls, with 15cm, 25cm as on the vídeo, also a 40cm profile of beams and columns as they use to make here in Curitiba, with Eucalipto trees. Complementing this a window and door famíly having wood as their constructive material. Here in our city they use this solution to urban mobilia as portals and etc in some parks. Maybe another profile with the internal side making a vertical line, considering it close to brick walls on bathrooms and kitchens. A 20cm concrete radier as base sounds more than enought to support all of it. Nice job. Your videos are really great 👍
Thanks for the tutorial. Is there anyway to show how you did the two wall intersection which logs appear every other one on top of each other as it appears In the thumbnail view of this course.
U create a profile family of a log like this or whatever log u want. U load it in. Make a curtain wall or whatever kind of wall u want. In the edit wall menu click preview on the bottom left. Click edit wall material. Then change the view of the preview. Click on wall sweep. Add a profile. Change it to the one u made. Keep adding them up the wall. And boom. U have ur log wall.
please show in a short video how to set your page so that you can switch in between views. am using 2017 version and i can only see one view at a time. eg when i open floor plan and i want to open 3d, the floor plan opened at first vanishes. i want to be able to see all my views opened lined up horizontally with the properties menu so i can switch quickly and easily between them. like in this video, you have the 3d and ref level all opened and you just switch easily. with my 2017 version i cant set that. kindly help me
look at keyboard shortcuts for tile views I think it's WT or TW. you can also drag a view (by it's tab) out of the main window area and put it anywhere on the screen.
