wow el toro is closed smh...i was planning on coming june 18th. I don't know whats going on but lately these amusement park rides have not been reliable
Hopefully it's back open by the weekend!! Need my Toro fix this week! Last week I went to the park alone and found that I actually really dig the free lockers... With some tweaking I think they could be great! Or better yet- just make all the lockers free, lol!!
My advice to everyone. Get there early and get on JD coaster as fast as you can. Otherwise, you will have to wait in a very painful long line. That, or burn a flash pass, or buy one.
I’m glad to see the park really try to fix everything up at once even tho it isn’t very good for park guest satisfaction. Bottom line is this park wasn’t taken care of for over a decade. It’s time it really needed this and I’m happy it’ll make it great when it’s all said and done!
Every time I'm on El Toro someone always getting hurt or a bolt flying off I remember last year I was 2 rows behind the ppl that got hurt the coaster kept jerking that's when I knew something was wrong
Wow, this is so sad to see how the park is being run: -Toro closed -Ka closing 1 hour early when operating -Jersey Devil on 1 train -Log Flume and Ferris Wheel still not open -Flash not open -Zumanjaro closed -Safari still not accessible from inside the park as advertised -Skyride closed 😮
Toro is a intamin problem devil is a rmc problem ( park has nothing to do with both of these) safari is closed from inside the park due to construction skyride I believe they are gonna start refurbishing it is over 50 years old and flash is making awesome progress considering it is a last minute addition the parks doing a lot give them some credit
I think there was a lot of deferred maintenance from the late 2000s and 2010s, and that bill is coming due now. Instead of spacing out the major refurbishments, they're having to do them all at once, so they are spread thin. Not having all the trains ready on the coasters now 3 months into the season is unacceptable, other than Jersey Devil which is an RMC problem.
@@collinparsons3363 yea I understand the coasters that were opened for holiday in the park being on limited capacity because they didn’t have a lot of time but Medusa, green lantern and Superman were closed in I think nov so they should’ve been done as for skyway , big wheel and long flume I don’t know if that’s the parks fault for pushing it back or corporate but I think they could’ve scheduled it better
@@Project_Storm1999 What exactly is the RMC problem with Devil? Is SF waiting for them to reconstruct the trains that aren't running? Was there really no way they couldn't have spaced this out between coasters? Because they have one that is still running. Also, do you know how long Toro is expected to be closed for?
Interesting with JDC still on one train as Wildcat's Revenge is stuck on two still as well. Hershey is not the park to use trains sparingly (demonstrated by 3 on Candymonium every single day) so it seems like parks are having issues getting parts from RMC. At least that's what I make of it.
El toro closed on Saturday, the day before I assume you went, I was in queue for el toro and they evacuated the queue and station and a train dispatched empty and just sat at the bottom of the lift for the rest of the day.
Some things you forgot to mention: Mr Six's bus is in front of Joker, El Diablo's station has been removed along with the abandoned splashpad Splashwater Oasis.
I traded a Friday + Sunday first-time visits up from ATL last week for a Sunday & Monday visit. Really regretting it now since El Toro operated through last Saturday and has been down since 🙃 At least got on every other coaster and both Ka & Nitro 6 times each over the two days.
i just went yesterday, it was crowded but really nice. they have a lot of slides to choose from but the lines are painfully long and there’s no fast passes.
Still chugging along with the main projects. I’m really curious to see how the resort will turn out. Some coasters still not running at full capacity which I hope they can fix soon. Right now they’re like in the middle with that. Could be better and could be worse. Chop Six has turned into a special events place for at least the season. Also have you seen a lot of 50th Merchandise? I haven’t really seen much
@@ColiwoodStudios This Log Flume thing was a huge F---UP on 6 Flags part. It was open in 22 and at the start of 23 they began minor work on it promising it to be open Memorial Day Weekend. Then it was apart even more and by July 4 they said it was closed for the season and has been down ever since. They are taking way too long on this. What was to be minor repairs evolved to a total redo. They should have just announced a total redo back at the end of 2022 rather than break promises. This park and 6 Flags as a whole are good at broken promises. Zumanjaro is another thing..Opened early in the season - Then abruptly closed for no good reason and nothing announced as to why. Rumor has it that its closed for a long time. Tired of these preemptions. Like when I was a kid KYW TV 3 preempted NBC shows on a whim. So many times even shows the TV Guide stated would come on did not and KYW ran some local news special - even prempting prime time stuff and even sports sometimes. Glad CBS bought them. But 6 Flags preempts programs the same way - even popular rides they close on a whim. Would love to meet the person making these decisions. If I were park president this park would run far better.
Yes but 6 Flags is TOO CHEAP to run 2 trains. They like to make people wait in lines like in Germany all day. They do this just to upset us. They really do not like running 2 trains on any ride - they just do sometimes to throw us some crumbs.
