When you turn on the country station in my small town it usually takes about two songs to know your on the right station

Im from colorado it has no meaning as far as coal too me as there not alpt of mining here anymore but as person whos worked his hands to bone and broke his back and neck carrying to mutch weight on sites across this state i under stand the strife wven had a boss once that ran shit like the company store hed buy everything youd need to keep you in debt to him so youd keep working his bullshit jobs

Grew up in South Charleston, now live in Florida. Spent summers at a rope swing on the Coal River in St Albans, jumping off a bridge and sitting in the falls. Enjoying you music Logan.
Unfortunately now they have that section of the river blocked off where you can't go down there anymore. I know the falls you were talking about rock falls with the big holes like a hot tub 😅 jumped off the same bridge. they closed it down cuz too many people were drinking and drowning. I myself as all so moved away
Man, I caught my first fish in coal river just above upper falls when I was like six or seven , used to hang out and party at upper and lower falls as a teen , also moved to florida 35 years ago . Been playin music longer than that .Just have to say I really love your music logan , you sing from the heart , makes me miss the hills . Keep on singin and writing you have a great career in front of you!
Lived on the Coal River until the age of 18. Did up a story about it on wvpr. Seemed to me the jobs were out by the time I was old enough and the drugs had drown us like River rats in a bucket. Wish it wasn't too much of a struggle to stay.

Love this young man's sound. Great talent for someone so young. These songs about the mines remind me of my great grandpa. Loved hearing his mining stories from around Logan County WV.
I can't stop listening to Logan. I loved in the mnts of Tennessee for 11 years in a small little town that had coke ovens and there was nothing for anyone to do so they did meth. Alot of good people but it's like he said those mountains were cursed. Place where if somebody was mad at you they would just burn your trailer down. There were lots of good people there though.
Watching and listening to Logan and his amazing talent reminds me of the feeling I got the very first time I saw Bob Dylan on TV many years ago when he was just beginning his journey to superstardom. Logan's journey is about to begin!

I saw his uncle Arlo McKinley at Headliners in Louisville, KY recently and must say that although I'm cemented in fact that Arlo will forever and always be my favorite musician hands-down, Logan is the only one I think can hold a candle to Arlo and he wins forever №2 position.
