I don't know the exact reason why two English actors were cast as the leads (maybe to be 'uncontemporary', maybe to be cheaper if a sequel was made, etc.), but when you cast Michael York and Jenny Agutter then you know you're going to get good believable performances (and it doesn't hurt that they're both very attractive).
@@loiscandler814He’s easily the biggest surprise because he was a two-time Oscar winner in what is basically a glorified cameo role in a genre film that was very difficult at the time to make money in (Star Wars didn’t come out until the following year, which meant that Planet of the Apes was the most successful sci-fi film at a box office with $34 million).
Out of 90 minutes, it was shown no more than 24. Very bad action. If there where no liking of posting this film, it is a waste os time oretending to uploading it. Shame.
The minimalist aesthetics of this Active Pool has been destroyed by the addition of guide and restraint railings around the pool, all because some idiots decided to go swimming and drowned several years ago. This hadn’t been a problem for decades, but suddenly it was.
