Assuming you mean multiplying, since two negatives added makes a "larger" negative, multiplying by a negative means reverse and go the other way. Think of it in terms of a number line. So if you reverse directions twice, you're back to the direction you were originally. Hence, positive.

I know that probably you wont read my comment. Im from a little country in latin america, and i wanted to tell you that your videos saved me. I was really depressed, i was majoring civil engineering and when i was in my last year, i realized i had made a mistake. I was feeling pretty bad and then, i saw one of your videos, the one where you explain the reason you canceled you PhD. Then i started to watch all your videos. You made me love math and physics again, you gave me hope, you made me want to be a better person. Im finishing my career now, but thanks to you, i discovered i want to be a teacher, so im gonna apply to a scholarship and try to follow my dreams. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, and sorry for my English.

Where were you when I needed you in 2013??? I already didn't much like college for the way things were taught; then in my second year I had to take trig and pre-calc. I learned from my tutor on my own time for trig, and spent 2 weeks in pre-calc before dropping the class completely. The negligence to new learners of topics was insane. They skipped steps assuming you already knew the information, they jumped all over the place like a rubber ball, just making it all seem alien. This Bob ross style teaching is what I desperately needed. Fantastic video!
