Hello friends
this time I'm working on The Buffers for may Logging Wagon. i took some more Time than i thought, but i think its worth it, to make a final 3. part for the Wheels and stuff....
i dont want to make the Videos to long!
My other projects won't start again until winter. These little side projects are not that time consuming. And the GArden- Railway Season begins...
Now that I'm the proud owner of a "Billy" from Roundhouse Engineering, it also needs something to pull.
the parts for the Leaf Springs are my own design. (as all of the Wagon Plans) I made a CAD drawing and gave it to :
/ modelengineersl. .
www.modelengine...
Thanks for the great result!
Have fun rebuilding!

I really like the weathered effect on the brass stock. Better than painting.

Hello Marc, Thanks for coming. Yes, I really like the effect of these small parts on a model. painted it would stand out too much from the rest, and would look like pkastik. it is also more resistant. you can manipulate the intensity of the coloring by applying several layers. but I think it looks better that way. nice weekend! and stay healthy!

Chris, fantastic workmanship!! You are really producing some excellent video quality as well........putting me to shame! Really well done, those videos must take an enormous amount of effort and time to produce. Stunning. Cheers, Jon

Hey Jon... Thanks for youre Kind words. Unfortunately, my demands on my videos are far higher than my results..... You would rather Laugh if you would see how the videos are made! I have a very old camera, and it is not able to show what i have record. So i only see the results by edditing on the PC.... That makes every single Scene a "one Shot one Kill" mission..... You Know how hard it is, to do thinks like taht, that not only should succeed in working, but also in Filming.... not easy.... Funny... because next Video i Try a New Camera... Lets see what happens... I Hope Youre Fine And i´m still waiting for the Sticker..... ;) Cheers

I really like the use of the small nuts/bolts - they make a huge difference. If you don't mind, where did you source the small sockets and spanners ?
