Hit the mark again Jono - succinct yet filled to the rafters with information. I am often on Logic related sites and forums (fora?) and if someone enquires about Logic courses/education I never hesitate to recommend this channel (with the usual disclaimer that I have no affiliation with you or the channel, of course). I cannot imagine anyone not benefiting from this channel. Moreover, I still think that you are grossly undersubscribed for the sterling service you provide.
Jono it’s absolutely crazy but small world moment. I just decided I wanted to do this for a project I’m working on, and when I looked up how, it was your video on Music Tech from a couple years back instead of this one. I noticed I wasn’t on your channel and decided to hop back over here, and wouldn’t ya know that the most recent video was on the topic I needed! 🎉 I definitely think it’s a shame RU-vid isn’t prioritizing your channel for me, Seeing as I was subscribed to both when I looked this up.
Really helpful Jono thanks. I run into these memory problems all the time with BBCSO (could be any resource intensive plug-in of course). I end up bouncing in place a lot.
What a great tip. Very useful. Thanks Jono. Some of these features in Logic are so good but are kind of hidden away so deeply that I for one would likely never find them. Thanks for helping us mine these resources and bring them into our workflow. Have a great day.
I like that way much better then quick swipe because then u dont have to flatten it … question Did u come up with keycommand workflow like in protools comping which can make this a breeZe to comp for examples vocals on audio
Thanks so much for your question. To the best of my knowledge, there isn't an 'easy' comping option for MIDI parts in Track Alternatives. Logic's Quick Swipe Comping is great if you have parts recorded in a Take folder (and works intuitively, like Pro Tools) but it's restricted to Audio Tracks only.
Glad you liked the video. I'm really proud of the community we're building around this channel, so thanks for the suggestion but I'm enjoying it growing at its own, organic pace.
