The code must have error. Most of the time it will be very small mistakes, like wrong placement of brackets or semicolon etc etc. Go through the video once more and check it with your code. You can also download the full source code from description.

Hello Master! can I ask what is the problem with my app and database connection, i just finished the sign up part of the video, When I sign up first time, it is successfull but when I look inside the database, the username, is "username" the full name is "full name" and the email is "email" in the entries. not vishnu or the username i typed. also when i sign in another time using the different names, it says duplicate entry username for key username. I have already spent a whole 4 hours reviewing your vid but i cant find the fault. please anybody help me 😭😭😭

Check the signup java part. You have made a very small mistake of quotes. Remove the quotes for the data veriables. Check the video the part where we assign username password etc. Just remove the quotes in the array data. That's all. 👍

Check the database phpmyadmin and check what username is used. If it's not 2hat you entered, Then check if you are having quotes in the signup java part for the data array. Check it with the video and you will understand

How would you switch login and signup pages, if you worked inside of fragments? 54:58 - You are using intent on line 38 for switching classes, but in my case login and signup pages are inside of different fragments. So, I have to replace signup fragment with login fragment and vice versa. What would you write inside of listener?

Its because the url doesn't have https, local host urls don't have https. So you have to add cleartexttraffic in manifest. Its shown in the video

You have to make sure you create the api correctly. If you are making any changes from the video it could be the problem. You should test the APIs seperately, use postman and test the api and fix errors.

test you api separately with postman, if you are a complete beginner then watch the video again carefully and do it again.

Make sure you have added the jitpack in root and the dependency in app gradle files. Also try, Select File > Invalidate cache and restart

i was checking what was the app was about i mean its obvious that when data is given and being taken from database itll react but what about if someone who hasnt signed in?? can they login ?????

I tried scrolling through the comments for solution but seems no one has experienced the same problem yet. The problem is with the Signup android part. I followed every step of the process and I am sure that I put the correct indexes and variable names. java.io.IOException: Cleartext HTTP traffic to "IP ADDRESS" not permitted. I checked the raw http url to both my mobile phone and PC(URL works in browsers) . Xampp server is also running both Apache and MySQL(both are green). The problem seems to be at the PutData("url"). What can I do to solve this problem? (also tried making it https and clearText to true and lots more method but none worked)

In manifest file you have to add cleartexttraffic = true it's shown in the video itself

@@CodesEasy actually, there was a mistake in my part. Turns out, I did not change the server name from the DBConfig.php to registerlogin. Thanks a lot for this tutorial and for even noticing and responding to my comment. You are now one of my idols in the Programming industry ^^

Go to the login and signup java part. Check if you have added quotes to the array data. Remove it

This is what it is coming A problem occurred evaluating root project 'LoginRegister'. > Build was configured to prefer settings repositories over project repositories but repository 'maven' was added by build file 'build.gradle'

502 BAD GATEAWAY shows when I tried to gt the link for Signup.php database. What to do? Update: I was able to solved this one! New problem, I get the SIGN UP FAILED but don't know what went wrong in the code but I'm still fixing it. NEWEST UPDATE: WE GOT IT! Our app's sign up & log in worked! Thanks a lot ❤ We are trying a multi-user log in/sign up. I dunno how to work on it but i'll try. Thanks btw for this very helpful video! 💖
