The series is playing on a random map generated by the game as part of the setup. The randomisation process in default mode produces similar maps that lends itself to learning the game due to the even spread of resources. This makes it ideal for learning to play the game.

When playing with seasons enabled, the ground starts to change in September to show the season is moving towards winter, the snow arrives the first week in winter and lasts until the end of February.

While paying for fuel there is not much difference between auto purchase and using distribution offices close to the customs office, it more about learning how distribution offices work as these sit at the core of the game logistics. The game can be brutal when things go wrong, so it is better to make the mistakes when they are easily fixed. Eventually a time will come to transition away from using auto purchase, know from experience the sooner its use is left behind the less bad design habits need to be fixed.

Sometimes it takes a short time for Steam to upload it the game, although restarting should fix it. Would suggest checking the vehicle availability setting as it is possible the vehicle has either not reached the start date or has already come and gone. To check start a test game and set the availability to all. The next thing I would check to see the vehicle is a western vehicle, so will have to check a NATO customs shed. Another option applies to ships, aircraft and trains. The purchasing depots/custom sheds have a size restriction, for example, some trains are not available to a medium custom shed. The way to test this is to start a game with unlimited money and vehicle availability to all, then build a ship dock, etc, and see what turns up. Hope this helps.
