Cheap Logitech system destroyed, blown out and then destroyed even more! The subwoofer had no power to it! Model: Logitech LS21 S-00042 2.1 speaker system.
I see these in the classrooms at school and as an audiophile, this is the best thing to watch for sure. I’m really surprised that so called “subwoofer” can only handle 5 watts 😂 i thinks the apple EarPods can handle more power than that
If you can find a bit stronger of a car battery charger you might actually be able to blow out speakers with it, like a 10amp charger. A car battery will also easily do the trick on smaller speakers, but they won't make any noise unfortunately
I have two high amp DC power supplies. This car charger and another huge 2A brick. I'll try hook both up to one speaker and see if it does anything (hopefully not blow up the power supplies).
@@manFromPeterborough Parallel might be better. 12v DC is already a high enough voltage for speakers to draw high current, so series would probably not do a lot extra. But hey, I could be wrong! Try both. Can't wait to see some speakers die slow deaths rather than a quick *pop* from the 240v outlet.
@@LazorVideosDestruction 12v into 8 ohm is 18w, that will kill small speakers, 24v will do 72w 8 ohm, so if you want to kill small subwoofers or mid wattage hi-fi speakers, i would go 24v
Honestly the subwoofer regardless being 5 watts the bass is not bad. Its not deep but it was pretty decent. I think its because they used a 8 ohm driver and the higher the ohms, the good quality the speaker will be . The satellites however are 3w 4 ohms i believe.
I'll consider this my birthday present, I had a pair of theses without the sub. One speaker got stuck in for 3 years, then it was free, BUT THE OTHER ONE GOT STUCK. So... yeah I broke them
ok i had this subwoofer and i thought it was a good one but now i have one with 30 watt and now this subwoofer looks shitty edit now the 30 watt one is shitty because i now have the logitech z623
Logitech only knows how to make computer mouses, everything apart from that,is just China deluxe crap with that stupid "LogiCheap" (Logitech) logo to make them 30x more expensive.
