I've actually had this controller for more than four years now, and I must say it's been an absolute champ. This controller has been a reliable companion throughout countless gaming sessions, never giving me a single hiccup when it comes to connectivity. The buttons on this thing feel so satisfying to press, and the joysticks are smooth and responsive, adding to the overall immersive experience. Now, let's talk about a slight issue I encountered while playing the popular submarine game "Subnautica." For some mysterious reason, the game doesn't allow me to ascend using the right joystick. It's a bit frustrating, I won't lie, but the rest of the controller's functionality remains intact, and it still works perfectly fine in other games. 100% recommended!
@@Dark_4realthis controller is wireless and use bluetooth while the xbox 360 ones that the US Military used have usb so disconnection is impossible and for this one imagine 4000 feet underwater how do u not expect it to not disconnect? Absolutely agree with the person who gave the reviews and I think y’all should buy/try this.
here 3 weeks after and now that it doesn't feel too soon and I almost spit out my drink when I heard him say that. if hell is real they deff have a spot with my name on it
This controller is so good it has dual vibration feedback motors that lets you feel the game, discover a new level of feedback you can feel with every hit, crash and explosion in games and ocean floors that support vibration feedback.
$250,000 per person and they used this $30 controller to control a submarine in the millions of dollars? 😂 They’d still be alive if they spent more on a solid gold Xbox controller.
Would like to remind people is that even though the AA batteries last long please keep spares with you, especially if you are going to use this to pilot a submarine
Please dont buy this controller for submarines. Get a PS5 controller instead. Downside to it is that the stickdrift is imminent and ur submarine will go round and round.
I’m using the switch joycons for my submarine. It moves just by waving them around. Thinking about switching it to the steam deck though. I always wanted the Wii U like experience when I drive my sub.
No just get the Gulikit Kingkong 2 controller! The sticks don't drift because they use hall effect with magnets! Or just replace the sticks in the ps5 controller with the gulikit ones. They offer replacement sticks for many different kinds of controllers
Not worth it in 2023, 250.000 USD is overpriced af, anyway take my sub, thanks for the in-depth review, really got to the bottom of the ocean with your review.
just play other submarine games... $250k for a once in a lifetime experience is not worth. You even need to pay for dlc for the return back to surface, in order to continue playing
@@Chrish1981 the wired f310 does not have vibration. the pads are identical except in colour. I have both.....I don't know what BimBurger is talking about. The F10 is a awesome controller.
Hi, thinking of using this controller to pilot my submarine/submersible to depths upto 3.8km do you recommend for this use or do you think i should get something more modern than a 12 year old xbox 360 knock off? Thanks.
@BimBurger haha enjoy the boost in views my dude. 👍 Heck I play Elite Dangerous and stuff with a PS4/5 controller but couldn't imagine using one on a sub or something like those billionaires did...
What a disgusting comment. Have some respect for human life. There's a 19 year old kid down there. Imagine how absolutely terrified he must be feeling right now to be trapped at 12,000ft in pitch black, freezing cold water and diminishing air supply.
Great controller apart from the joystick drift. I was manning a sub with this bad boy and I’ve seem to have gotten myself lost. I even tried up, down, left, right, L1, L2, R1, R2 and still no luck.
I found your video in incognito when looking up something about it for a friend and had to log in to let you know how useful this was. It's not just filled with information but rather useful and important information, and on top of that it is very well formatted in a way that makes it easier to understand. IMO this is top tier review content. I'm looking forward to more of your reviews
I got this controller shipped to my home in Ocean Gate, New Jersey, the quality is so amazing, it feels like its worth 250,000 dollars. I could play for 96 hours on this thing and not get tired! This controller is so absolutely breathtaking, I somehow got 5 extra kills, after the controller disconnected! This controller is a absolute Titan, and I will be sure to use it in the future! Thank you so much for the in-depths review, I will be dropping a sub.
Nope, I even had to look up what had happened because I had no fkn clue what a Titanic Sub was. First comment about it said something like "Too soon?" I was all "too soon for what?"
I own a pair of these and I have to agree with most of what you've said regarding the ergonomics. Its not meant to be fully gripped, which is a subjective preference. With the exception of the triggers, which are too small, I like the buttons. Even after all these years, they have a nice click to them, are easy to develop a tactile feel and have decent resistance. I think the AA batteries outweighs the pros of a built in battery. It adds longevity to the unit without worrying about a dying internal battery. I think the D/X input gives it unparalleled compatibility. This controller works with windows 95 to windows 11, and many consoles. One thing that wasn't mentioned, is the driver support, which is virtually non-existent. For many, including myself, you have to go into device manager and use Microsoft wireless receiver drivers to get them to work, if they work at all. And windows updates can also cause driver issues resulting in you going into the registry to fix it. Its a real hassle. If I didn't already own them, I'd definitely get something modern. The rubberized back coating develops a sticky tar feel with age, which attracts dirt and hair particles. I still like this controller overall, and if you want something that can handle modern and retro platforms, this one is a no brainer.
man i have stupid proplem the gamepad was working exellent but sudnley when i press LB one time it works 2 times and the B botton in fifa very short loob how i can fix this
Hi, idk if you're still active but were you able to get the vibration to work properly with this controller? When I try this controller with PC the vibrations are very faint. The battery is all charged up :/
@@tomtomdu97 i would get an xbox controller theres too much hassle with this controller plus three vibration won't work with all games unless you use x360 software
