Hi there everyone, thanks a lot for watching content! 😊I actually didn't think I would enjoy this handheld as much as I did. What is your thoughts on 'streaming devices' like the Logitech G Cloud? 🕹
I like watching the newest reviews for the Logitech G cloud now that people are really understanding what it can do and how good it really is. I like it more than my steam deck believe or not. I also like my Razer Edge 5G more than my steam deck. They are both superior portable experiences in my humble opinion. I think the price is justified on the Logitech G Cloud. Superb ergonomics, great screen, surprisingly great emulation and fantastic battery life justify it. Plus pair it with Geforce Now Ultimate and it will out perform any handheld coming from the handheld windows PC craze. IYKYK!!
I've been looking for a handheld gaming device that I can play my own Xbox or PS games so this literally sounds perfect but everyone is saying get the steamdeck but it doesn't play Xbox or PS games or does it? Do you know another handhelds that can play Xbox and PS?
As a RPG fan I find it runs PS2 really well. I've beaten both Dragon Quest 8 and Persona 4 on it with little to no tinkering. Its a beast of an emulation device and the screen is crazy good.
Following retro dad‘s guide there is quite a lot that can be done for ps2 and GC, which makes it a pretty ok option. Considering the ergonomics compared to some other retro handhelds and its incredible battery power (and weight) when streaming, this is a very very good device, even at 300
I really enjoyed this review. I agree with most things you say and have had the G cloud for about a year and I pick it up daily. All of my other handhelds just sit in the drawer now because the g cloud is so versatile and I play so many systems on it with the emulations. When you consider the cost of $300 it is actually a steal when you realize you can play the entire library of so many gaming systems (GB GBC SNES NES N64 PS1 PSP PS2...the list goes on. I have not even touched on the microsoft game pass which is simply incredible with so many new games available. The battery life, the amazing screen and the ergonomics,...it cannot be beat.
This is hands down the most comfortable handheld to hold with a 7 inch screen. I have a TPU case on mine, and the feel is so much better than my Asus Rog ally. I think the triggers are mushy. Personally, I like the membrane buttons better than the hard clicky buttons on the Ally. I've played on my G cloud 10 to 12 hours straight with no fatigue in my hands. I'm using mine for PS5 remote play with the third party app,, which is far superior then having to use Chiaki on the Ally. Game Pass equally as good as Ally, Android games, which even with the Google playstore in Beta for PC the Ally's AMD chip isn't compatible. I've been playing some PC games through GE force now, but PC gaming is limited through Geforce now. Steam Link works great if you have a gaming rig. About 70% of my emulated game cube games work, but you do have to remap controls. The only Wii game I could get to work well was Smash Bros. Configuring controls because of the nature of the wii remote is a pain. It's pretty cool having access to about 80% of my gaming in one device I can carry around with me and play on all day while seemlessly switching between gaming platforms in a few seconds with just a couple of button presses. I love how unlike my Ally this thing never gets hot, my frame rates are consistent, I'm always in 1080p, and there is no fan noise, or software issues. Another thing to note I have a $1200 Asus Chromebook 16 gb 512 sdd ram with an I core 5 processor and despite only having 4 GB of ram on the Gcloud. I get screen tearing on my Chromebook. I don't know what kind of wizardry they used, but the G cloud outperforms my $1200 Chromebook when cloud gaming. As for my uncomfortable to hold nintendo Switch locked in Nintendo's ecosystem, it's collecting dust...
Hello, can this device run Netflix and Disney+ on 1080P? I'm on the market for a tablet but my friend recommended me this device because I love emulation as well.
Great analysis! The G Cloud has the best weight, ergonomics, and screen size compared to any other portable gaming device on the market. But you’re absolutely right that it’s too significantly overpriced and underpowered to allow it to ever become a mainstream success. Such a shame!!
I’m sold and I’m gonna buy it anyways. Lol however, I do have two questions. One. How is the Wi-Fi? I have a very strong home network. My bedroom not so strong. My cell phone works great however my fire tablet sucks. Would you say this Wi-Fi adaptor is good modest or bad? Two. When playing Game Pass on this device the full screen used? Maybe that’s dependent on the game just like watching a movie. Thank you for a wonderful review. Of course I gave it and subscribed.
I thought if you had game pass you have to download games to a device so why do they offer that? I know XBOX cloud and steam link will work but do not understand game pass and G Cloud...excellent video
Hi. I would like to ask how to use Controller and touchscreen in same time ? I try use left analog for move my character in League of legends wild rift game and on the right side touch screen to use skills but I'm very disappointed cause after I'm touching screen my character stop moving. It's looks like touching screen blocking controller. I have few days this handheld controller and if I cannot use both in one time I will return item cause every controller give me that option except Logitech G Cloud. Please help me
I in house stream on my Steam Deck a lot (Steam link and PS Remote Play/Chiaki) and have always been attracted to the Logitech G Cloud for its intended purpose. I'd love to be streaming on a screen like that instead of the Deck's. But for that advertised purpose the price just never gets/got there. Everything else it can do is just a bonus in my mind. Would have to start getting below 200USD for me to finally bite.
I just checked and it's $350 now. It's better to just grab the odin 2 for $405 or Odin pro. This could've been a great streaming device. But the diagonals and price is a no go for me. I want something more capable for that price.
To my shock, the portal actually limits the games you can play on it! It makes NO sense to me but I read that you cannot play the same games you can on ps plus app. All I know is they were saying it limits you which is incredibly stupid.
I’m waiting on the day apple let companies like Logitech to produce products for them with old apple chips like the iPhone 14 chip and the App Store on the device ! Then you on !
Best feature is the screen... Too much short cut... too pricey... weak processor...too little ram...and internal storage...🧐🤔🙃... but it still looks good hardware...
REALLY? i prefer to trust Russ from retro game corps, who says the g cloud is overpriced and offers less value than similarly priced handhelds. and Russ has proved with every single video of his that he does what he does because he likes the hobby, not for money. i don't believe you, and i question your motives. Russ has more money and subs than God, and has no need to lie.
