I just sat back down to resume GT 7 and I just saw your new video on the Logitech G Pro wheel and it was just what I needed as I have been hesitant for some reason to venture and mess with the settings in the wheel. Great timing on your part mate! I so needed that and am thrilled that someone finally did it. Thanks for the encouragement. P.S, I also loved your honest and unbiased review concerning the new Fanatec PS5 extreme DD wheel. So glad I took the plunge with the Logitech G Pro wheel. It's been great so far and simple. I do love plug-n-play features and Logitech, to me anyway, have always been great at that. Thanks again!
...what kind of elastomers do you use in the brake when your brakeforce is at 38. That would be important to know for us users. And do you reach 80% of the break when you push the pedal to the very end?!
I bought these about a year ago. They’re absolutely amazing for every day GT7 driving. But it sucks that there’s no handbrake, you can’t use a different companies handbrake and much like you couldn’t set the axis levers to work I can’t get them to work as a handbrake in other games. It’s fine for GT7 but I’d like to be able to slide the car with a handbrake on rally games. Also the only shifter available is not great. I love what is available but I wish they’d release a hand brake a shifter or make it so we can use one available.
Would be great to run through firmware update process. Also, the best GT7 in game settings would be helpful too. Finally, when will they release a new shifter and gt style wheel!!

When you say, “push this little button here.“ you’re missing an opportunity to really educate those who are new to this particular wheel such as myself. There is no way to see (in this vid) what button you are pushing. As a newbie (and you can bet there will be others of us watching this) we want to know which button or control you are using to access the features or tools you are talking about. This is not meant as a criticism but an observation. I appreciate tutorial videos such as yours.
I own the Logitech pro setup I agree about running no dampner and tru force set Fairley low. I run my wheel on torque Read out. I mainly stick to iracing I got my NM set down to 5.3 find its easier to feel finer movement. 11nm on Suzuki pikes peak car on gt7 on asphalt can break a wrist
Put that in g923 compatibility! Just to see how strong this wheel really is 😅 in pro mod it's really weak even at 11nm (on gt7 at least) cuz they tone down force feedback on high torque wheel
I’m disabled (paraplegic) and I’ve been trying to find proof that the clutch paddles on this wheel can be mapped to brake and throttle. THANK YOU! I’ll be ordering one today 😊
One thing to note about the force feedback torque levels with GT7 is that Polyphony cuts 30% of the peak feedback for the G Pro. Apparently they did the same for the DD Pro when it first released before eventually removing the cap (it can hit the full 8Nm now) while the DD Extreme is limited to 12.7 or something. That said, if you have your feedback settings at 11Nm on the G Pro, you’ll peak out at 7.7Nm in GT7. If you have yours set to 8Nm you’ll peak out at 5.6Nm. Hopefully Polyphony will eventually lift the torque caps on the G Pro. I should also note that Logitech also has recommended settings for various games on their website too.
The DriveHub adapter sits between the wheelbase and console. With it connected I can have the full 11nm of FFB that is on offer in other titles. With Trueforce. Absolutely nuts on 11nm. But awesome.
Kireth, can you do a review of the DriveHub adapter which allows the full 11nm of FFB AND Trueforce? I've had mine for several months now, and love it. Sure, not everybody is going to use 11nm, but it fixes the issue of nerfing that Polyphony Digital have for this wheel.
The angle is how far the wheel can rotate. If its at 540, the wheel only rotates 540 degrees. If its 1080, it rotates 1080 degrees. The ONLY difference it makes is allowing extra wheel movement, which you dont want if the car you drive only has a 540 degree rotation. Clearly the wheel in game spins less than the wheel irl
Just curious, you have had this wheel for over a year, and in another video you said it was one of your favorite wheels, but it seems that some of the set up features you are seeing for the first time in this video? Great job on all your other videos, but this one we didn't really get any fine tuning details for the G pro wheel.

Today fedX delivers my Pro Wheel+ Load cell pedals and G racing adapter. So thank for doing this video. Will use many of your settings. Already use to the FFB from my G923, but not so happy with the pedals that came with it. The load cell pedals have the ability to alter the strength of each pedal and like you will be removing the clutch pedal as well. Most likely will just be sport racing on GT7
I was a beast with the g923 pedals. I got the load cells and it took a few laps to get used to em but i did get better lap times with the pro pedals. G923 got me to A level in gt7 in a month so im excited to get the new wheel !!
no words about the bug in gt7 with this wheel? i have too change ffb strenght and trueforce every time,because gt7 overwrites my settings,realy annoying
Use Logitech’s recommended settings and you will not have this issue. The game defaults the wheels TFA setting back to 100 each time. To accommodate this, set your vibration setting (in game menu) to 35. Follow all of Logitech’s recommended settings and the wheel / game are flawless together.
Mate can u do the same for ams2? I know that’s not your gig. But you’re the biggest Logitech Pro wheel advocate. Logitech if your reading this I hope your looking after my boy Mr Kireth, so he can retire young at Monaco.
I bought one of these last week. It works absolutely brilliantly on gt7 ps4. Today I switched it ove4 to pc to try it on acc, nothing. I turn compatibility to g920, I got brakes and throttle, no steering. Can you please do a vid showing how to set up for acc? Thanks. On the plus side a Lamborghini bounces great off the walls going down the straight at Monza, downside, it doesn’t do so well at the chicane. 😂😂😂
i have a loadcell and I have no clue where is my 80% with a normal pedal, u just move the pedal about 80% adn u got it :D with loadcell pedal is at the end and only slight movement give big difference :D when im, racing only with psvr, I have no clue when its 100% unless I press super hard(to be sure) :D But then, when it starts releasing the breaks, just a tiny bit, I have NO clue, its only when released properly,at least 30%( to be sure) :D But thats all with fanatec v3 pedals and their base :)) as I see its not a problem with this wheel(dont need to connect to a screen, which is far from the rig now), cause wheel it self shows the pressure infos ! :D Superb wheel !
i had bad oscillation with my dd pro wheel , no settings helped it and even attempting to start a drift with spin the car out instantly. does this logitech wheel oscillate at all ?
Thank you Kireth for sharing your settings and explanation. I still have a big problem. In 1:37 you show the option STRENGTH which I can't find in the menu settings of my Logitech G Pro wheel (I have all the other options). I am in Console PS4 mode. There is instead an option called "TF Torque" instead. There is also an option named "FFB Torque", Is this the same? My problem is that even setting up all those parameter to the max value of 11 Newtons and to maximum force in the Gran Turismo 7 game, I don't feel enough torque compared to my previous Thrustmaster T-GT wheel when set up to high feedback force level!
Hi Kireth, thanks for all you brilliant videos. I currently use the G Pro and i like it very much. Exept especially the Angle Settings in Gt Sport (PS5) are causing me a bit of a problem and I can't solve it (even with a firmware update). I like to drive with significantly reduced angle because I can get the cars round the corners better and I think that makes a big difference. If I set the angle to 400, for example, the G-Pro automatically resets to 1080 after a short time. Have you ever had something like this and do you know a solution? Best regards, Marcus
I'm waiting for a vid like this but for Assetto Corsa for PC. I can get ACC and iRacing feeling amazing but I've struggled with other games. WRC as well.
I wish Logitech would release some accessories and new wheels. I have the PS5 version and want a Xbox compatible rim to use with it. I could then sell my Fanatec wheel that I only use for Xbox.
should be plug in and play. and all the settings only in the game. Its ONLY when used for pc, other settings should be used as well.. Just my opinion :D
