►Logitech G305 is one of the cheapest and reliable mouse for gaming, browsing, or basically, everything. (at least for me.
After using it for a year, finally, my switch is broken. It's time to it to another kind of switch. I don't say Omron Switch is bad. But it has the same problem all over the internet, double clicks.
This time I'm using TTC Switch 80M. My first impression is this switch quite fancy and it has a dustproof feature which I can't say if it works right now. Let the time tell.

Thanks to your guide i finally decided to change the switch on my g304 after 1 year of abandoning the mouse due to double click. Anoyone following this guide please note that the factory solder is not a lead solder and thus takes high temperature and much more effort to desolder the faulty switches.

Just a heads up for anyone else who doesn't want to get into soldering--ebay actually has the switches pre-mounted on their little boards with the wire that connects directly to the mainboard. You can choose from a variety of switches--I got the TTC 80M's, and managed to swap out my old switches with no soldering required. The kit even comes with a set of mouse feet, so it has everything you need to do this swap. It cost $10 and I'm very happy with it.

i use this same model mouse since 2018 and it's still in good condition. I play valorant and rainbow six siege and i can say this mouse do a pretty good job. it's inexpensive and the best mouse i ever had. for those who has small hand, and looking for inexpensive mouse, this mouse is the best choice. (honest review)

I upgraded mine aswell, mainly because of doubleclick issue. Now I got huano transparent blue shell pink dot switches and they feel great! I also replaced the feet and custom spray painted it, looks like a new one!

most of ttc/kailh switches has a good lifespan.. but who knows? it's just a "switch" like the one you use to turn the light on and off in your house 😁 the glides is depends! for me it's speed over control so I really love the new glides better

I have the white version of this mouse and I just soldered on some new silent switches but I cannot put the "covers" (the white plastic parts, left and right) back on. They just don't fit lol. Idk if I bent both of them when I was taking them out or what. Yours and many others' I've seen on yt, just slide right in and then click in. Hmmm

My right click switch stopped working. So I made the order. But the soldering station came 1 day earlier. So I decided to play around and undo switches today and soldier down new ones tomorrow. I ended up switching the old switches places. And what do you think? The broken right switch started to work xD

it's just a temporary fix.. like a TV remote when the battery dies :D just change it and you will be fine for another year :)

it's the switch. maybe the dust in it, maybe the contact is loose from time to time. when you played with it, maybe it's solved the problem inside but it's temporary..

Don't be fooled, the hardest part is not the soldering, but screwing them back. Especially if you dont have magneted screwdriver. Spent an hour doing this and its sill not in yet ..

yes, the problem is the switch itself.. so if your switch is double clicking or just not responding as I show you in this video, you only have to change the switch.. goodluck

yes it will fit. You can browse for the sound and fell of the switch in youtube anyway, choose one you feel better in sound and what they said about the feel before you buy..

@@ren7185 probably because when you soldered the switch, it's not pushed enough until the bottom of the switch touch evenly on the pcb.. you have to resolder it and make sure it's even

It's really not that bad, I had it replaced in half an hour or so with one that included the PCB attached on Amazon. Replaced it with TTC gold 80M.

The easiest way to remove the feet is to use it daily for about a year. By then they'll just fall off.

the switch that you used is too light... if you still want to use a silent switch, search a heavier switch (which is dont know because I never use a silent switch for my mouse..)

ive had the stock omron for my g304 bought it around mid 2020 n now around april the double click issue start appearing so the factory one is kinda good ive been playing fps game alot im surprised it handle all those for 3 years so now im gonna change it witht he same exact brand but is 10m click more than the stock..... thx for the video i was kinda afraid if i gonna screw it up or broke it

It's not about the click rating. It's the incorrect voltages. Modern wireless mice switches only requires a tiny voltage compared to wired mice but they stuck switches from those wired mice into this. The result is they fail after a few years while the wired counterpart G203 will work just fine. The trick is to get the right switches with the correct voltage rating like the one in the video.

@@nevmiku so i opened up my g304 n search up the brand n model of the switch online n the pic is same as the stock one in my g304 but it (20m) instead of 10m is dat also meant different voltage even though the model is same number

@@kuronekogaming5126 If the model number is the same then they should still be at the wrong voltages. Also, does it matter whether it's the same when the double clicking already develops and you'll need to replace them with new switches anyway?

harus... karena kan ada timahnya.. kalo agak susah bisa dibawa ke tukang servis hp biasanya mereka punya alatnya dan udah pasti bisa.. tinggal kasih tau aja video ini ntar mereka bisa ikutin..
