One of the previous Logitech keyboards I used had a light come up when Cap Lock was used, but this one does not seem to have such a facility. Have I missed something? John Copeland
I was just going to buy the MK320, but I noticed from this video, that it lacks a dedicated "context menu" key (like right-mouse-click). I understand one of the "Fn" keys is programmed for this (or at least it can be), but I use it so much I'm sure it would be a pain to have to click 2 keys (that are quite far apart), every time you want to use it... for me, it's a deal breaker. It also seems to be missing the "Insert" key near the Home/End/PgUp/PgDn (above the 4 cursor keys). So, it's odd that (at least) those 2 keys are missing on such a large keyboard.
Works also in Linux if you add the "Solaar" program from your Program Manager. The MK320 now comes with a Nano receiver, it's the MK330 which comes with the Logitech Unifying Receiver. The Solaar will allow adding other devices with the Unifying Receiver.
I don't know if you still have them, one question in case you do or remember. Does the software allow to change the polling rate of the mice shown in this video? If yes, what options are there? Thank you.
Would this work well with a wireless all-in-one windows 8 desktop? The wireless computer is operated from a linksys router which is in another room.. for now I am mainly interested in music and videos with a distance of 10 or 15 feet between the all-in-one and the mouse/keyboard.
< $20, and works like a charm. I bought one for my notebook, and loved it. Six months later, just bought one for my desktop, when both the wired keyboard and mouse, started to act flakey. Notes on models. Box says 'mk320'. Keyboard says 'K330'. Mouse says 'M215'. BTW, I really like the smaller mouse, and I wear large to XL gloves.
I am looking for a cheep wireless mouse keyboard for my auxiliary keyboard. Since it will only be used casually I think it will do fine for the price point.
I'm pretty sure that they do work. They just do not have anything to indicate that they are on, which is the only downside that I see to this keyboard.
Thanks for the review. I went out and bought it and it works great. HOWEVER, despite the box saying mk320... it actually had the mk330 inside. I'm not complaining:) It looks very similar to your mk320. The buttons on top are black and not silver. Also, the windows key looks different... I think because it is designed for windows 8. Oh, the USB receiver is WAY smaller than the one you got. It only sticks out maybe a quarter of an inch. Thing is so small that I probably wouldn't have even noticed it had I not been looking for it. It definitely would work well on a laptop. Overall, I'm very pleased with it so far. Well worth the $24 I spent on it.
I bought this kit 2 years ago work fine wth my computer windows 7... Since i bought a new computer with windows 8 the mouse lag with intermittent problem... Anyone have a solution here ? Driver?
this was my first ever sepearte keyboard and mouse (what i mean by that is one that didnt come with the laptop). i used these up until 2019 when i got a gaming keyboard, and i also go ta mini mouse in 2019. then i got my first gaming mouse in 2020 (one was a cheaper one, then i got a better one) and a new gaming keyboard (my first mechanical one) this year
Haven't used the microsoft, but to me it would come down to the features on the mouse/keyboard, like extra bottons (especially if youre a gamer).. the Logitech is pretty basic in terms of the features
I have the MK320 keyboard and mouse. It works great, even for gaming. But I don't really like the mouse, it's too small. So I stopped using the mouse and got an anker wireless mouse.
I just bought this (hasn't been shipped out yet) with hopes of using it for a rasp. pi (say when i am searching youtube, streamed to my TV) .... looking around at different types of KB's ... and looking at the prices ... this seemed like the best option. I have a 310 mouse that I am using currently .. I also have a M305 ... and to be honest (the reason I got this set is ... ironically the KB alone was $10 more than the set together ... go figure) I was able to find a 310 for about 5 bucks (I think I had a store coupon to get it to that price that was about to expire) so I liked my 310 so much for 5 bucks .. I picked up another one. Bottom line I have almost exclusively gotten Logitech devices myself and really due to prices and what I needed .. I only got this for the KB ... the mouse is just cool addition. if i needed (for whatever I use this combo with) a better mouse ... I have a few here I like anyway. great review by the way
oops my mistake lol ... just noticed I ordered the 270 (KB) ... i am guessing its the same mouse with (like you have) the smaller keyboard ... oh well ...I really didn't care either way size wise ... I just wanted a good wireless keyboard (I have a few PS/2 KB's around here but I NEED a USB KB now) and I have always trusted Logitech
seems to me there is something missing here: Where is the transmaitter? I mean the thing you hook to the computer with a usb cable that transmits signal?
@@not_yoel06 I would hope so but still I don't see how commenting on some random person's review of X product would actually convince them to give away stuff they bought.
I just got it for $19 but I see this is about 3 years. Yes I love it and use it for laptop BUT HERE IS WHY I CAME HERE; LOOKING FOR THE LIGHT THAT LETS YOU KNOW THE CAPITAL LETTERS ARE ON. I CAN FIND NO LIGHT TO INDICATE THAT so that can be frustrating. IS THERE ONE?
I've had mine for about 3-5 months and my mouse wont even stay on. It just shuts off after a couple of uses and need to keep cutting off and on. DO NOT BUY THIS!!
The logitech mk320 is for desperate people... The mouse doesn't read the requested sensitivity, The keyboard lasts for 2 - 2 and a half years... And the keyboard 2 years and mouse 1 year is simply a lie...
